President of Republic received by President-elect of Panama

Panama City (Panama) July 1, 2019 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Ghali, was received Sunday by President-elect of the Republic of Panama, Mr. Laurentino Cortizo.
The Panamanian president who was accompanied by members of his future government, welcomed his Sahrawi counterpart and his accompanying delegation, recalling the historical relations between the two countries, stressing his government's determination to consolidate these relations in the future, and praising the Sahrawi participation in his inauguration ceremony as president of Panama.
For his part, President Ghali congratulated President Cortizo on his victory in the recent elections, stressing that the two Panamanian and Sahrawi friendly countries and peoples have been fighting together for a common battle for liberation, peace, prosperity and stability.
He affirmed the determination of the Sahrawi party to consolidate the friendly relations and cooperation between the Republic of Panama and the Saharawi Republic.
