SUPREMO!!!BUHARI MUST GO

BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU,NOBEL LAUREATE

It’s uncertain times in The Federal Republic of Nigeria and the people are united in very strong terms that its duly elected President Muhammadu Buhari should resign with immediate effect and transfer power to a National Transition Committee for the Salvation of the People of Nigeria..

The body which should consists of ten respected Nigerians with 3 each drawn from The North, West and Eastern regions respectively while the remaining slot of 1 should be given to a member of the minority group and with each of them doubling as a member of the Federal Executive council and holding at least 4or 5 ministerial duties to cut costs in governance since they will be working with Permanent secretaries

They are to prepare the nation for the next general elections in 2023 while also using their time in office to stabilizing the nation’s economy and also laying effective blueprint for the nation’s economic future.

Before writing this piece ,The Editorial and Policy Board of The E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria on the back of a lot of investigations that it had authored in the past insist that the only way forward for the nation was for the present helmsman to resign and go into retirement in  his ranch in Daura,Katsina State…

This medium had written how The Nigerian Presidency should join hands with its Ambassador in Algiers to get a model of what led to the nation’s insurgency in the 1990s spearheaded by the Islamic Salvation Front who won an election that was annulled  and how this crisis was ended ,facts on ground showed it did not do anything.

It is well documented that the issue of insurgency is difficult to tackle but the Algerian model is a good case study for Nigeria yet it did nothing about this.

This medium has also written pieces on how The Nigerian Presidency should hold quarterly meetings if not monthly meetings with retired military generals where they can get experienced feed backs on security with which they can handle the Boko Haram insurgency ,facts on the ground showed it did not do anything.

Sometimes in 2017/2018 ,we wrote a piece :May Day : Muhammadu Buhari is a security threat, interestingly he has not just confirmed our reports but has done it in a very grand style.

We have written information in which we wrote of how Abubakar Shekau was allowed to work free by the Nigerian Military High Command severally and to which the regime in conspiracy with her friends deny at all times.

The regime claims that they have not being given the proper equipment to fight Boko Haram ,the question now remains what was the essence of establishing the Defence Industries Corporation ,what happened to their annual  defense allocation …

From the Lekki Shootings to the Bornu killings of 43 farmers or is it 110 farmers now to several killings since 2009 it  is obvious that the nation is sitting on a time bomb.

Though the  Northern Elders Forum have been making half -hearted statement that Buhari should re-jiggle the security apparatus or resign but we think that this is political and a half measure ,Buhari should be told in a very clear language to resign and go home.

Northern Elders are supporting Muhammadu Buhari by proxy ,they should take the proactive steps of telling her representatives in the National Assembly to impeach him with immediate effect and this should be done along non-partisan lines.

Our Editorial and Policy Board analysis anchored by Mr Jack Amaso, one of the nation’s most resourceful commentator on public affairs has been quite revealing and impactful..

Though Alhaji Lai Mohammed ,The Minister for Information of the nation has said that calls for the sack of his principal is irresponsible but we leave that to the people to decide what they really want ,but for us at Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria we do believe that this is the right steps for Nigeria now…
