ZARIA:HARVEST OF DEATH AT AGRIC CITADEL

The Ahmadu Bello University of ,Samaru –Zaria ,Kaduna State is currently in mourning as news filtered into The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos ,Nigeria that on the 19th of December,2020 ,Professor Samuel Duru of the University’s Animal Science Department at both its faculty of Agriculture and the Institute of Agriculture [I.A.R.]in Samaru-Zaria was stone cold dead.
It was also gathered through the class of 1999 Whatsapp platform that two other senior members of the Agricultural family in the university ‘s staff structure were also dead as at press time even as information as to what led to their death still sketchy as at the time of filing even as Covid-19 was suspected by this reporter.
As tributes and condolence messages poured in for Professor Duru who was the Examination officer as at the years in 1999 when this reporter graduated from school ,it was also announced that Dr Ahmed of the University’s agronomic department and Dr Katung also of the same unit were the other two members of the academia that were said to have being deceased in the last few days.
