PAEDIA EXPRESS PICKS BUHARI,JONATHAN FOR NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

WHY PAEDIA EXPRESS MULTIMEDIA NOMINATED BUHARI,JONATHAN
PICKED FOR THE 2015 NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
the editorial and policy board of the above mentioned outfit has selected the duo of  general muhammadu buhari, and dr goodluck ebele azikiwe jonathan for outstanding contributions towards peace and the course of democracy for 2015

great friends despite a political rivalry that has now set the tone for good governance even in global politics

reasons:
1]That dr goodluck ebele jonathan did not seek to gag the press,he signed the freedom of information bill into law in nigeria
2]that dr goodluck ebele jonathan despite serious concerns and reservation allowed the usage of the controversial card reading machine thus promoting the principle of accountability
3]that despite the worry of the opposition, the usage of law enforcement agents which dr goodluck jonathan ordered helped to check trouble in otherwise volatile areas
4]that dr goodluck ebele jonathan kept nigeria together as a single entity despite the threats of religious beasts called boko haram even in the face of sabotage
5]that on two occasions he signed historic peace pact with rival politician, general muhammadu buhari
6]that dr goodluck ebele azikiwe jonathan helped to provide a level playing  field for opposition politics to thrive
7]that dr goodluck ebele jonathan despite several accusations by the opposition never succumbed to the temptation of rigging his opponents out
8]that general muhammadu buhari helped to deepen democracy by showing that if there was a will power there was a way,an incumbent can be defeated in African and global politics
9]that general muhammadu buhari’s deep love for hard work, transparency and accountability ,uncommon in african leadership should be commended
10]that general muhammadu buhari’s love for Nigerians irrespective of religion and tribe in a deeply fractured nation will keep nigeria together into the future
11] that general muhammadu buhari’s ability to transcend from been a soldier to been a democrat is a clear testament we can all learn from even into the future
12]general buhari’s believe in the rule of law
a]as head of state,he ruled by martial law churned out in the form of decrees and never acted outside of the laws of the land
b]as presidential aspirant of the all Nigerian peoples party [a.n.p.p.]despite been cheated by the ruling peoples democratic party on numerous occassions he still went to court to challenge  rulings he knew he was never going to win in 2003,2007 and 2011.
the supreme court’s verdict in 2007 was particularly ridiculous as weeks before then, late Nigerian presidnt, alhaji umaru musa yar’adua was quoted severally in the press to have declared that the elections that brought him to office was fraudulent.
if this had happened in other climes yar’adua’s statement alone was enough to throw him out of office but judges in the nigerian supreme court in there own wisdom in a split decision delivered a political judgment to the favour of the deceased yar’adua.
irrespective of the aftermath of the 2015 presidential elections in nigeria ,where we believe that a winner and a loser had to emmerge  we do not however see a loser.
the two gladiators are eminently qualified as statesmen to be given a pride of place by the prize committee of the nobel peace prize for the year 2015.
we congratulate ,his excellency ,general muhammadu buhari for achieving his life long dream of about 30 years of once again ruling nigeria ,this time via the ballots.
we also congratulate ,his excellency ,dr goodluck jonathan for having steered the administrative compass of nigeria through an extremely difficult path in the last six years.
to the duo, we say take a bow
