Only a prophet could have seen it in his crystal ball coming as not many really saw it coming but like a thief in the night, political prodigal son and Turaki of Ilorin,Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki now President of the Nigerian Senate had gone back to his comrades back in the old Peoples Democratic Party [P.D.P.]for support in the race to the Senate Presidency.

While the famous “Tinubu gang “were busy7 flexing their muscles  and gallivanting all over the place as if they owned Nigeria,Saraki was busy like a busy bee plotting graphs of how he was going to pull the rug of their feet.

The fox from Ilorin,Kwara State had told his friends in P.D.P  that he was going to give them a chance they never dreamt off since they lost the Presidency to the All Progressives Congress.[A.P.C]

At this point based on the way the soap opera played out, Senator David Mark will appear had said they will support him in his quest to wrestle the golden fleece from the jaws of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was angling to take over the control of the National Assembly after installing his puppets like he does always in the South West axis ,but in return Saraki will also do the P.D.P. a favour.

Then Dr Saraki fired a salvo,he had secured the signature of 70 of his colleagues in the Senate but the A.P.C Leadership instead of taking him very seriously called his bluff.

About a week before the National Assembly polls,Senator David Mark gave the clearest indication of what was to come when he declared that the P.D.P. was not going to contest.

At this stage,it was as clear as night and day that the P.D.P would rather prefer to work with one of their own or better still a former colleague than a Tinubu stooge, the rest they say is history.

A Public Affairs analyst who will not wish to have his names in the print said the race for the 2019 Presidential Contest in Nigeria has started in earnest.

He poured cold water on the reported party held by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to celebrate Senator Saraki’s victory and to spite A.P.C leadership for there refusal to give him the Presidential ticket as short lived as he was sure that the duo will soon fight themselves due to perceived political ambition in 2019 elections.

He warned President Muhammadu Buhari of very story days ahead if he does not formulate strategies of how to manage the situation among all the key actors in Nigerian Politics.

His words:”Buhari is politically naïve to say that he will not be involved in legislative matters as it can be ultimately damaging”

“They will be waiting for Buhari’s ministerial list and this is where they will start to sting him,David Mark is the real judas and I can tell you that it is the return of the old establishment”

“Tinubu is not a politician but a business man and ultimately every of his moves is geared towards satisfying such and he has done that 100 percent”

In a related issue ,yet another source criticized the style of funding every in Nigerian politics ,saying it was because Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the biggest financier in A.P.C . that he now wishes to control the entire party machinery.

He urged political parties to make sure that there funding should be spread around so that nobody will attempt to hijack the party structure in the future for selfish  gains.

When Bukola Saraki dusted his opponents ,he headed for Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s private residence in Abuja where the latter treated the former to a lavish party suggesting that he was in the knowledge of the plots all along.

Latest reports as at press time available to the News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos shows that Former Veepee Atiku Abubakar recently held a close door session  with the Lagos state 2015 P.D.P Governorship candidate .Mr Jimi Agbaje presumably on his petition on the elections now in a Federal High Court in Lagos.

An impeccable source who is a P.D.P. woman leader in Lagos told Paedia Express exclusively that more drama was to come as efforts were been made to check the rampaging bull called Tinubu.

It was not known immediately as at press time what was discussed in the meeting between this two but it will appear that  Alhaji Abubakar wants to have a full dossier of  Mr Jimi Agbaje ‘s court case  against Mr Akinwunmi Ambode  now Governor of Lagos state with a view to supporting Agbaje morally and financially  so as to help break Tinubu’s bones in court.

Once upon a time during  their Action Congress days sometimes in 2007  the spirit of jealousy  wedged in between Alhaji Abubakar and Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as they fought silently over who controlled the party machinery.

As battle raged on,the Former Nigerian Vice President who did not want a repeat of what took place between him and Former President Olusegun  Obasanjo decided to walk away as he could not imagine taking orders from a certain Bola Ahmed tinubu.

Since he founded the party he simply left with the names and documentations but Tinubu suddenly turned things around when he founded Action Congress of Nigeria ,an off shoot of just a mere Action Congress,with Atiku  making things easier for him in branding as he had gone back to the P.D.P family.

A source speaks:”The war came to a head at a meeting in Lagos,Tinubu urged the master of ceremony not to recognize Atiku according to protocol as the Vice President of Nigeria at the time”

“It took the intervention of Chief Bisi Akande whom Tinubu has a lot of respect for before the anomaly was corrected,so it was his leaving the Action Congress arrangement that affected his dreams of been President and by now he and not Buhari would have been in power”

It would be recalled that during the  campaigns for the presidential elections   ,Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was so disappointed about the way he was played out by Tinubu during the primaries of the party to select its presidential candidate that he stayed away most of the time but bided his time to strike and when the chance presented itself in the form of an election of principal officers in the National Assembly he and his associates struck with deadly arrows at the heart of the All Progressives Congress national leadership thus igniting a greater crisis.
