All roads led to the Kayode Oluyemi International stadium in Ado Ekiti ,capital of Ekiti State of Nigeria in South Western axis of the nation on the 12 th of July,2018 as the All Progressive Congress[ A.P.C]National leadership led by President Muhammadu Buhari ,the party's National Chairman :Mr Adams Oshiomhole and its National Leader: Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu amongst other key party chieftains.

Checks by the News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria ,shows that speaker after speaker at the epoch making rally shared and gave a hint about the fact that Dr Kayode Fayemi ,an erstwhile Federal  Minister and party's flag bearer was leaving no stone unturned in its math towards victory on come on the 14th July,2018.

As The Dr Fayemi's train was campaigning in Ado-Ekiti and was being showed live on Television Continental and Channels Television globally ,incumbent Governor ,Mr Ayodele Fayose who was rooting for his Deputy Governor: Professor Kolapo Olushola also had his campaigns going on simultaneously on the African Independent Television[A.I.T].. thus setting the stage and tone for not just a media war but a full blown war as the atmosphere was fully charged.

Then there were several cases of conflicting and very disturbing reports from multiple sources as some stated that there camp was winning and were sure to carry the day while others stated that there were "no-go"areas for either of the party as their promoters and supporters will be attacked and killed if they were spotted in any of those trouble zones.

Worse still ,this medium heard several reports of money ranging from N10,000,N7,000 and N5,000 being promised and eventually given to the natives by officials of both A.P.C and the P.D.P ,so long as they were voted for in the final analysis.

There were discoveries made by this reporter of how Governor Ayodele Fayose was said to have paid and even gotten all the hotel rooms in Ado Ekiti to be fully booked for so as to frustrate his opponents so that they do not have places to sleep in town.

There were several reports of thugs imported for the polls from outside of the state by the A.P.C aside from several cases of stuffed ballot boxes on either sides of the divide even before the real election was due to take place.

Then on the 14th of July,2018,there was  a big drama in Ado Ekiti that caught even the global community by surprise ,Governor Ayodele Fayose was seen on the floor in pictures taken by the press and wired via circulation globally as he complained bitterly of been subjected to humiliation on account of his leading role as an opposition figure in Nigerian politics with the law enforcement agencies used by the incumbent ruling party at the centre.

This particular incident led to several view points from the observing members of the public as some out rightly condemned the present regime of Buhari for its high handedness on its rivals and pleaded with it for over all fairness ,others were indifferent as they lampooned Fayose for been a comedian.

According to them ,Governor Fayose was only trying to buy up masses emotions and accused him by saying that four years ago he used the same rough tactics at the bus stop  to get to power and should therefore not ask for any public sympathy now.

Multiple sources explained to this reporter that Governor Fayose of Ekiti state has now resorted to theatrics because he was probably aware that the present regime of Muhammadu Buhari was waiting in the wings to send him to prison upon the completion of his tenure in office.

An impeccable source who also spoke to this reporter on the polls stated that with the way ,hard core loyalists of Governor Ayodele Fayose had deserted him days before the polls for imposing his candidate on P.D.P  via the usage of his Deputy Governor ,one did not need to be a seer to know that the party was going to lose at the elections proper.

 A source speaks:"as far as am concerned that Ekiti election as staged by INEC was nothing but a clear case of a disaster and a daylight robbery ,how do you explain that the INEC resident electoral commissioner was replaced days before the Ekiti polls"

"They are acting a script as they brought in the R.E.C. from Edo state because they knew that he could be compromised an what is happening is what they tried to do in Rivers State and Bayelsa State  previously but due to the militant nature of the Niger Deltans  it did not work out"

"what Buhari wishes to do is to use his might to force himself and his people to office at all cost for their second tenure of office ,they want to win at all cost even if it means a blood bath with people"

"In 2019,if care is not taken i can assure you that if this is tried in any way it can lead to the beginning of a  revolution ,do you know that the total votes as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission[INEC]is higher than the real votes  the same agency not a different one announced was casted for each of the political parties  when summed together ,so the entire process is a scam"

As at press time ,it was gathered again that Governor Nyesom Wike 's chopper brought in a huge cache of liquid cash from Port Harcourt ,Rivers state of Nigeria for the polls though this reporter was not given details of the right amount involved but believed to be in huge level ,just as Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state who seems to have lost respect for his fellow human beings with refusal to pay workers salaries persisting giving out a cool N2billion to support Dr Fayemi's ambitions according to an inside account.

As at press time,another round of drama was on in Ado Ekiti as Mr Fayose has" illegally"declared his Deputy Governor as the winner of the polls ,an action only vested by laws of the land on the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] but which the latter has abused by his obvious complicity in the ensuing inferno.

As it is :Ekiti state has two Governors elect hence legal fireworks are expected sooner than later .

It was learnt that P.D.P had an upper hand and was leading in 14 local government area while some said 4 as some others stated that A.P.C  was in the lead.

However the die is cast in a battle that will go down in history as being down to the wires as it could go as far as the Supreme Court of Justice of Nigeria where transcripts of some of the heinous crimes 

done against democracy will be laid bare to all.
