OBAMA CELEBRATES PAEDIA EXPRESS
In a ground breaking public
relations statement ,a Former President of the United states of America,Mr
Barak Obama has urged political leaders and other forms of opinion molders
around the globe to stop been cynical and accept the stark reality of the fact that previously unknown or unheralded world
leaders were emerging from various fields of human endeavor.
Though Obama did not make mention of
any names directly in the public statement made on the 16th annual public
lecture and 100 years anniversary of the
birth of the Late Mr Nelson Mandela
recently in Johannesburg,South Africa. but even the blind,deaf and dumb knew the story of Paedia Express Mulltimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria pretty well and
how its founder has been persecuted for political reasons by politicians,global
media ,government officials among others for his professional works on free
speech and the course of press freedom.
JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Former U.S.
President Barack Obama said on Tuesday the world should resist cynicism over
the rise of strongmen in an apparent reference to populist leaders who hold
power in several countries.
"Just as people spoke about the
triumph of democracy in the 90s, people now are talking about the triumph of
tribalism and the strong man. But we need to resist that cynicism," Obama
said in a speech to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nelson Mandela.
