GLOBAL COCOA :NIGERIA NOW RANKS NUMBER 10

Nigeria presently ranks number 10 globally in terms of Cocoa
production output and capacity and only a timely intervention of the Federal
Government will help to arrest the rot.
Checks at The E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria
shows that a lot of Nigerians are strongly believed to have abandoned the farms
for white collar jobs.
A source told this reporter that Ghana surpassed Nigeria
about four years ago in the pecking order as against the time past.
He urged Nigerians to take agriculture seriously as there
was no way out of this if the nation nursed the hope of a fully galvanized
economy..
He revealed that the vast Ile-Oluji Cocoa farms and its
processing plant has since being shut down due to the bad business weather in the
sector.
