BREXIT:CHAOS LOOMS ON GLOBAL MARKETS
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU[LAGOS,NIGERIA]
STOP PRESS :theBritish Government as at press time insists that they will find a way around Brexit
Except a miracle of some sorts happens at this period of
transition between now and March,2019 ,then the entire global financial
services market may be thrown into a serious crisis as a result of the
inability of the British government to find a lasting solution as far as its
exit strategies from the European Union [E.U]is concerned.
The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia
Group of Lagos,Nigeria had hinted severally in the past of the fact that the
United Kingdom had no definite exit plans for Brexit but politicians at
Westminster and 10 Downing Street while
trying to show some level of optimism at the time branded such talks as
misleading.
In a chat with this reporter in Lagos,Nigeria,an impeccable
source said that no -body anywhere in the U.k. or even within the European
Union is sure of what can happen .
The source speaks:"As it is todayif another referendum
holds over Brexit we will almost certainly have the same results as the time is
even too short for that anyway"
"Theresa May cannot even get the required majority in
the Parliament even from among fellow party members to get anything done or
going as far as we know ,so it is a
pathetic situation"
'David Cameron got us into this mess but today he is
enjoying himself around the world delivering lectures and making good money
from them"
"the legacy he has left us is this problems we are now
facing but even if they remove Theresam
May i do not think that they can find a quick solution in the shortest period
of time at all"
The source lamented that the implications of what was on
ground right now was that the Brexit crisis was going to have a ripple effect on the entire global
financial services market due to the prime role of the metropolitan city of
London as the financial services capital of the whole world after New York
City.
The source listed such grey areas that were still tearing
apart negotiations as the role of the pounds sterling, free trade in europe, Northern
Ireland/Republic of Ireland Border Control among other issues.
The Justice Minister of the U.K.: Mr. David Gauke had noted
recently that the likelihood of the nation leaving the E.U. was sure to affect
the jobs market .
Gauke speaks:"leaving the E.U.is also likely to have an
impact on the work force in sectors such as catering ,agriculture, construction
with employers being able to fill short term skills gap while developing
potential permanent employees for the longer term"
Tension remains in the United Kingdom over Brexit as at
press time as investigations by this medium continues.
