RICH WILD LIFE IN RIVER NIGER

Nigeria and other nations with River Niger's presence can rake millions of dollars annually from tourism

A rich vein of wild life is said to be in the tributaries of River Niger and its surrounding environs.
In an exclusive interview with Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos, a Benoinoise by name ,Mr Francois Tonjo said that his village in Materi Province in  Benin Republic has a heavy presence of such animals like Hippopotamus.
He pointed out that killing a Hippopotamus with a bare hand was almost impossible as he disclosed that he has seen such interesting animals   like Crocodile , Alligator ,Giant Snake, along River Niger   
His words ”our village is at the bank of the big river ,we usually kill Hippoppotamus with large explosives, they are herbivores who do not eat flesh but grass and they have large pieces of dentition which they use to fight enemies and keep back any form of invader”
“We killed in 1971,1972 and 1979 respectively,at the time we needed to register at a Benionoise facility but now I hear that poaching is now highly restricted as thee are acses of poachers been arrested”
“As Hippopotamus are usually aquatic the expatriate  tourists tat normally hunt for them come in company of some female whore from Cotonou to our village and  they usually are in need of special marine instruments to detect the positions of the animals”he added.
