Cadbury Nigeria Plc has began an efforts towards fighting the deadly Ebola Viral scourge within its own territory by introducing new safety measures for every staff and visitor to the company   in the wake of the deadliest break out of the Ebola Virus in living memory.
In an exclusive investigation by Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos ,it was discovered that a sanitizer  to help people clean –up has since been installed by the company at its strategic security post which also doubles as its reception to welcome its guests to the company’s premises along the busy Lateef Jakande Avenue in Ikeja,Lagos.
This reporter was made to observe the same ritual as he was instructed by a security personnel of the company on how to use the automated sanitizer fitted on the wall to fight the escalation of the deadly Ebola Virus within the company’s complex.
Recently ,it was observed that The United Bank For Africa Plc has moved quickly to check possible dissent among its rank and file as it has banned all owners of food businesses from operating in any of its branch outlet worldwide.
Analysts believe that in the wake of the greatest break of the deadliest attack of Ebola Virus in living memory, financial supermarket aims to check possible pandemonium in the bank by stopping businesses that operate restaurant chains that sells various food for its staff.
It is not immediately known how many of its staff will be affected worldwide but it will appear that  thousands of workers will be affected by this latest measure aimed at protecting the health of the workers as it will limit the exposure of workers to a rowdy environment.
Paedia Express Multimedia gathered in Lagos,Nigeria from one of the banks  branches that the new measure has met with a lot of reservation from the bank's workers.
A staff speaks "they have said that we should make our private arrangement for food and that those that sell for us in the various canteens should stop henceforth, now what do they expect us to do"
"Ebola Virus disease is in the air because it is viral, you cannot hug, shake hands , you cannot even seat near a passenger in a bus ,it is a terrible situation"
In a related issue,Lagos recorded its second case of Ebola on Monday, in a doctor who treated U.S. victim Patrick Sawyer, Nigeria's health minister said.
Sawyer died in Lagos last month after arriving there by plane from Liberia.
Ebola has killed 826 people in West Africa since the outbreak began in February, mostly in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
"As of today, one of the doctors that treated the late Mr Sawyer has tested positive for the Ebola virus," Onyebuchi Chukwu told a news conference. Of 70 people who were under surveillance, eight had been "quarantined at an isolation ward provided by the Lagos state government," he added.
Ebola is one of the world's deadliest diseases, with a mortality rate of up to 90 percent of cases. The disease starts with headaches and fever, and final-stage symptoms include external and internal bleeding, vomiting and diarrhea. There is no effective treatment and no vaccine to protect against it.
The latest outbreak began in the forests of remote eastern Guinea in February. Its arrival of one of the world's deadliest diseases in Nigeria, Africa's biggest economy and its most populous country, with 170 million people, has caused panic.
Lagos is Africa's biggest city, with 21 million people, and one of the world's most crowded, with poor healthcare infrastructure.
