 THE W.H.O IS EXPECTED TO FAST TRACK ISSUES AND MOVE QUICKLY TO RATIFY THIS DRUG OUT OF GLOBAL PUBLIC HEALTH CONCERN

The entire globe is waiting for the World Health Organization[ W.H.O]to give the final nod on the use of Black seed oil for treating H.I.V/A.I.D.S even as the University Teaching Hospital in Ibadan ,Oyo state is said to have commenced the treatment of patients with the disease since last year that news broke on the matter..

In a world exclusive check by The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria ,The Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Our Friends Hospital in Lagos,Nigeria ,Dr Tosin Isa Mohammed said that the politics behind W.H.O. nod notwithstanding there were solid assurances that the drug was working positively when administered on patients .

He disclosed to the News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria in the course of an hour long interview in his Lagos office recently that the landmark research due to a lot of scientific bureaucracy could take years before it is ratified at the World Health Organization and this was what accounted for the mainstream local press refusing to swoop or feast on the report in 2016 .He wondered that if the University Teaching hospital of Ibadan ,Oyo state as highly respected in the field of medicine is not being celebrated for such a landmark achievement then Nigerians should have an understanding as to the level of politics on the matter.

He revealed that as he was talking to this reporter patients were already been referred to the U.C.H in Ibadan and were been treated with the wonder drug from Black seed oil.

This reporter was showed how the seeds of Black Seed actually looked like from an online slide that was showed by Dr Isa Mohammed .

His words:”it is research based study and nobody needs to fear ,however,it has been politicized because foreigners have not yet come out to say that it is internationally accepted “

“the World Health Organization [W.H.O]is aware of the wonder cure  and the efficacy of the drug but it will take years before they can accept it publicly as will go through a lot of other scientific trials “I have the seeds  and oil but science is not a straight jacket like that and that was why I had to get in touch with the center in Ibadan’s U.C.H.,in science anything that has to do with therapeutics  must involve a product which will have to be processed scientifically so that the Active ingredient can be determined and then the right dosage for the patient before drug administration towards  therapeutics”

The raw form of Black seed oil was also showed to this reporter in the course of the interview aside from the well packaged pharmaceuticals formulated into finished products of Black Seed Oil.

In the course of the press interview ,this reporter picked some of the Black Seed and chewed it to swallow as it is said to boost human immunity .

He assured that he was going to the centre of the breakthrough at U.C.H.in Ibadan to know which method to use to formulate the drug  so as to know how to work on at least five pilot patients he will soon be assembling for his own deep study on the wonder cure  ,upon which he will publish them too in some publications for  the recognition that it deserves.

He noted that the government at all tiers can get involved in the final fight against H.I.V./A.I.D.S ,insisting that if the Federal Government wants to be part of the show it can instruct the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research to partner with all private initiatives on the scourge and then they can take it from there.

He pointed out  that Lagos state government under ,Governor Akinwunmi Ambode can come into the fray by working with hospitals and then  funds can be released accordingly for the massive project.

He added that the only snag he can see in the horizon is that a lot of Nigerians do not want to go into areas that will involve research and development .

It was also gathered that the issue of pricing will most likely be last to be sorted out in the value chain of the wonder drug as by the time the drug is certified by W.H.O  and it becomes a household name on every table the government will have to come in by subsidizing the costs of the drugs so that It will be affordable by all.
