In his native India,no human being is as loved like this actor called Amithar Bachan ,perhaps may be Mahatma Gandhi,Netaji Subhras Chandras Bose .
In 1982 when this reporter was a youngster he could recall that the entire Indian nation were said to be apprehensive and holding prayers when it was heard that he was injured while shooting a movie, though he did not have the details then but this was an information about him that got to the Nigerian audience.

So good was Amithar Bachan at acting that many in the audience easily looked forward to seeing his face in any major indian movie despite the fact that not all the movies were translated in English.
It was not surprising to read that a certain group of Indians virtually worship him thus strengthening the level of effect ,emotions and influence the actor has had not just on his native India but all around the world.
