JIMOH IBRAHIM SPOTTED AT 2018 WORLD BANK MEETINGS

Where is the Executive Chairman of Global Fleet Oil and Gas Group,Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim ,this seems to be the swansong at The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria recently with the likes of Chief Orji Uzor Kalu ,Alhaji Aliko Dangote,Mr Femi Otedola,Mr Jim Ovia,Mr Tony Eluemelu ,Mr Bill Gates amongst others running the roosts as friends of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,a highly exalted office.

Checks by this reporter through a highly impeccable source said that the Ondo state born politician who is member of the Peoples  Democratic Party [P.D.P]would appear to have relocated abroad albeit temporarily to oversee  the progress of some of his business interests and investments in the United Arab Emirates as he met with the source at a strategic session about four months ago.

According to him ,only those in the good books of President Muhammadu Buhari get juicy government patronage and are invited to The Presidential Villa,Aso Rock,Abuja  for meetings targeted at steering the affairs of the state's administration and activities.

In the past ,this reporter was told that while the then General Muhammadu Buhari struggling in the political trenches of the old All Nigerian Peoples Party [A.N.P.P.],Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim was one of the closest persons to him with the Ondo  state born multi-billionaire business mogul said to have deployed time,energy and resources to the advantage of the Daura born military strategist .

This was in between 2003 to around 2007 but fast forward that to 2015 till now and then it is easy to see how things change quickly in politics like every aspect of human endeavor.

It is strongly believed that most of the Nigerian businessmen now parading themselves as Buhari's friends are actually fair weather pals .

They have a habit of giving out cash to fund the incumbent and the opposition politicians at the same time in an election year while waiting for the eventual winner of the polls and so who -ever wins or emerges victorious becomes their new bride  that must be courted with juicy perks and when won over he becomes entrapped in their arms or embrace.

So it will appear that Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim is not good as such in this department of deception ,though he was a big hit in the regime of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and that of Jonathan.

In a related issue,about the time of hitting the press it was learnt that Alhaji Aliko Dangote,multi-Billionaire business mogul and one of the richest men in the world had  single handedly bank rolled Mr Donald Duke's recent global political tour as the Former Governor of Cross Rivers State prepares for a shot at the 2019 Presidency.
