BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU
The Shiite Islamic
School of religious thoughts in Nigeria under the auspices of the
Islamic Movement of Nigeria [I.M.N.]are now waiting on the 2019 Governorship
polls in Kaduna State of Nigeria to push Mallam Nasir El Rufai out of office.
Checks by The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express
Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria as at press time shows that a lot of their
leaders are doing a lot of grass root mobilization of their members while
waiting for the all important elections.
I.M.N. leadership are angry with state actors over the
shabby manner the head of its leadership
:Sheikh Ibrahim El Zakzaky had been treated by the government and its security
operatives.
Sources have also told this reporter that a lot of
christain forces in Kaduna South were
also preparing to push El Rufai out of office
in 2019 due to their believe in his poor performance on the state
security.
A source explained that he does not know how El Rufai wishes
to win as all the 3 senators and their respective representatives were also not
with him in his political voyage .
He painted a grim picture for the All Progressives Congress
[A.P.C.]in the 2019 polls in the state if care was not taken.
In a related issue, mobile telephony messaging social media
platform ,Whatsapp has also showed recently in a video monitored at The News
office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos ,Nigeria of
how a massive throng of protesters
converge at the magnificent looking ,National Mosque in Abuja, Nigeria
during a Friday worship services .
It is the not known immediately by this reporter whether the
incident was in the last one week or two but for sure a stand -off was recorded
at
the mosque.
It was observed in the five minutes video that youths from
Northern Nigeria and what looked like the stables of the Islamic Movement of
Nigeria[I.M.N.]of Sheikh Ibrahim ElZakzaky judging from the pictures of the
placards that they were carrying.
The Youths were seen protesting as they called out the names
of The President ,The Senate President and the Director General of the
Department of State Security Services [D.S.S] to stop the spate of injustice against their leader and
the entirety of their leadership in all ramifications..
In a related issue, in a personality program me on Channels Television titled: Road Map,2019
and which was moderated by Mr Ladi Akeredolu -Ale ,Senator Shehu Sani had
sought to clear some of the perceived
misconceptions over his quarrels with Governor Nasir El Rufai.
He explained that he has been accused of committing murder
by the Governor in what appeared to be a case of trumped up charge against him
but quickly added that in the charge sheet there was no case of dead body
neither was there an autopsy report provided by his accusers.
He noted that due to the unending cold war between him and
the Governor of the state, the latter had sued him for deformation of his
character for a sum of N2Billion while he too had returned the favour by suing
for a sum of N5Billion for similar reasons.
According to him,the only reason he will not be contesting
the position of Governorship in 2019 is if his political block says they do not
want him to represent their interests.
He lamented the lack of internal democracy in the party
,saying the issue of selective fight in the anti-corruption policies of the
present regime could eventually sound its dead knell if there is no recourse to
fairness and equity.
He affirmed that he had known President Muhammadu Buhari for
over 40 years and could vouch for his character as a person but that one's
integrity alone was not enough to run a government structure hence he advised
that Buhari runs his regime in the mould of a team player and not a one man
riot squad alone.
He added that he was stunned that El Rufai was making a mole
out of a mountain on the non approval of a World Bank loan he had applied for
while wondering what the politician had done with money accrued from Federal
allocations, Paris Club funding, sales of states assets ,reduction of the size
of the civil service structure which was meant to control the wage bill of the
entire state.
