AMBODE MUST STAY WARNS GOVERNORS SUPPORTERS

Supporters of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode working in consonance with some civil society agencies have fired a gauntlet at the  direction of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,the Chartered Accountant must be returned back to office in 2019.

Couple of minutes ago,this reporter at the News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria was embedded in a bus that transited Ojodu Berger to Ogba in the company of supporters of the embattled politician who had embarked on series of peaceful protest to declare their grievance with the decisions by the All Progressives Congress [A.P.C]not to allow the Epe born man to run on the party's ticket in 2019 elections.

They then agreed in unison that they will do all that was humanly possible to convince the party that Mr Ambode was the right person for the job.

In a related issue as at press time,the big battle over who controls power as the Governor of the state from May,2019 has now taken a new twist if feelers were anything to go by.

Information received by the News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos, Nigeria  shows that Governor Ambode may have made some mistakes in his relationship with his now estranged godfather, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress [A.P.C.]but he was spot on 100 percent to have allowed his aides to invite the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [E.F.C.C]to take a serious look at the books of Alpha Beta Consulting,a firm with a controversial history due to its close linkage to the politician ,Ashiwaju Tinubu .

An impeccable source during a chat with this reporter said that at the moment Alpha Beta consulting was  raking  in N1.6trillion in liquid cash annually but that sadly a hole of a fraudulent N160Billion has being discovered by eagle eyes E.F.C.C. operatives who also discovered that Tinubu has consistently refused to pay taxable income despite his big liquidity.

The source pointed out that since Ambode was a thorough bred professional accountant who knew the implications of tax evasion he had decided to wash off his hands and not interfere with official investigations in line with the anti-corruption agenda of the government at the centre .

The source among several other Nigerians are now calling on Ambode to go ahead and contest for a 2nd term in office if denied the A.P.C Ticket by the web of intrigues and excessive power play by Tinubu as they believed that the electorates will vote massively for the Governor irrespective of Party affiliation having discovered that he was an asset rather than a liability as being peddled a rumor by Tinubu's array of loyalists and propagandists.

In yet another twist, Senator Oluremi Tinubu,wife of the godfather:Ashiwaju Tinubu has thrown he full weight behind the Governor  to return for a second term in office thus raising fresh questions on the true reasons by the party's decision not to use him for the 2019 polls.

A source had also revealed of plans to impeach The Governor by members of the Lagos state House of Assembly if he were to resign his membership of the All Progressives Congress [A.P.C.]to cross carpet to any rival political body so as to be able to contest in the 2019 polls.

At the moment,the odds are stacked against the Governor if he bites the dust in the forthcoming direct primaries of the party to pick a new candidate to fly the party's ticket for the 2019 polls.

If he leaves A.P.C to cross carpet to another political party in the scheme of things he could be impeached thus becoming a damaged goods politically except if he seeks a judicial interpretation.

If he stays in A.P.C ,then his foes will allow him to walk away in May,2019 and there will be no forms of impeachment or damage done to his names and in the future if the party is still full control at the centre perhaps President Muhammadu Buhari can remember him for his services to the people and for been a good boy by not leaving the party.

He can also turn himself to a Sylvester Stallone styled Hollywood movie Rambo and order security men to barricade The Lagos state House of Assembly [L.S.H.A]and prevent them from holding any formal sittings from now till the time of the elections with the mace stolen as well to stifle any forms of impeachment while contesting under another party's ticket other than the A.P.C.

Though we are not asking him to do anything illegal ,Well we are only wondering aloud the ball is in Governor Akinwunmi Ambode's court ,his next actions on this highly contentious matter will go a long way in determining his place in history or destiny.

So how is it going to be ,it's up to him really
