JUDAISM OVER 10,000 YEARS OLD NOW

Judaism,the faith ,Abraham,The prophet of God from Ur of the Chaldeans in Sumeria ,Canaan practiced which is now Iraq in modern times is estimated to be around 10,000 years old presently.

Checks by The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria shows that Jews who do not believe in Jesus Christ are still expecting the arrival of the promised messiah.

It is believed by Jewish spiritual culture that when the messiah finally comes ,he will deliver them from all their troubles while also helping Israel to a path of prosperity forever.

The Jews are such a tiny minority of about 18 million people in a world of 7 billion people but analysts are interested in the study of the faith because christainity, founded by Jesus,a first century  jew and Islam founded by The Prophet Mohammed,[P.B.U.H]1,500 years ago after Christianity, both owe its scriptures to Judaism’s survival.

However, while christian commentators have always argued that Yeshua [Jesus Christ]was the expected messiah from the mosaic times, Judaism does not recognize both Jesus and Prophet Mohammed till this day.

Islamic theologians have also insisted that it is an insult to say their faith was founded by a mere man  but have always said that Islam was established by Allah,the almighty God.

According to Hebrew scriptures,Abraham ,the forefather of the jews and Arabs  was already worship ping the one but true God nearly 4,000 years ago.

To carry out his promises to Abraham ,God laid the foundation for a nation by establishing a relationship with the former's descendants through Moses[Moshe]

Moses was born in Egypt in 1593 B.C.E. to Israelite parents who were slaves in captivity along with the rest of Israel.

An earthly kingship was established and in 1077 B.C.E. ,David from the tribe of Judah became the King of Israel and after his death his son, Solomon[shlomo] ruled in his stead and this afforded him the chance to build a great temple for God in Jerusalem.

The sacred literature's of Judaism includes the Torah,Neviim,Kethuvim,Mishnah and the Gamara.

The Torah consists of the first five books written by Moses and this includes Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

Neviim consists of books associated with the prophets ,covering from Joshua to the major prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and others referred to as minor prophets from Hosea to Malachi Kethuvim consists of poems, proverbs, songs and lamentations ,it also includes Ruth, Esther ,Daniel,Ezra,Nehemiah, Ecclesiastes, first and second chronicles..

The Talmud is designed into two main sections and these are the mishnah and the Gamara while the former is a collection of commentaries supplementing scriptural laws  based on explanation from Rabbis but the Gamara is just a collection of commentaries on the mishnah by Rabbis of a later period.
