BUHARI'S HANDS BURNT IN AWARD DRAMA

Nobody ever expected it but it did happened anyway ,this reporter on the back of a written report titled: Dispute over Ambode's second term in January,2018,adviced in a social media commentary that the politician should be given a chance irrespective of any personal animosity politically.

Then words went around in a viral manner that the notorious reporter has said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state should be allowed to  run for a second term  against  an editorial run of play.

This soon became a swansong and the Billionaires Boys Club led by Mr Femi Otedola.Mr Jim Ovia,Alhaji Aliko Dangote  and Mr Tony Elumelu amongst others turned it into a waxed song that they then changed into a formal brand endorsement.

Then Governor Akinwunmi Ambode suddenly became the poster boy of the non -performing All Progressives Congress [A.P.C]as every colleague of his wanted to be seen with him in Abuja and amongst them wait for it:Alhaji Yahaya Bello of Kogi state as everybody wanted to know and identify with success.

Then ,there was the palpable air of confusion at The Presidential Villa  about how the notorious Aristotle had given Ambode his blessings for a second term in office but now who will bless Mr President in the same manner.

At least if President Muhammadu Buhari gets a global recognition from a figure that is more respected than the Nigerian born Aristotle{Abdulmumini ireyi Adeku],it will make the statesman to be in good standing for the 2018 general elections or so the President's communications strategists felt

It did not take long enough for the names of the famed American civil rights leader:Martin Luther King to crop up and so the aides to The President evidently with his permission started to work on the project.

so a "fake award" was organized from what was said to be from the Martin Luther King Centre  couple of days now fastly rolling into weeks.

Not happy with their names being linked with a scam ,The King Centre tweeted on  Wednesday 28th March,2018 dissociating itself with the plaque or award it was said to have given Buhari some days previously in Aso Rock,Abuja,Nigeria

It said:"The award given to President Buhari of Nigeria was not given by the King Centre or by the children of #M.L.K and Coretta Scot king"

Senior Special Assistant to The President on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora ,Madam Abike Dabiri -Erewa in a statement dismissed in very strong terms insinuations that the government paid for the award.

In 2016,Former President Goodluck Jonathan became the first African leader to get the Martin Luther King Human Rights awards  on account of Peace in Nigeria in the aftermath of the 2015 polls ,so analysts now wonder on what basis was the current one being given to a regime that wishes to criminalize the thoughts process ,persecute political opponents, refuses to listen to judicial decisions among other vices.

It would e recalled that around september,2017 as soon as this reporter was crowned Aristotle  of news journalism ,all hell was let loose within the Nigerian political waters due to envy and jealousy.

When political opponents of this reporter saw Aristotle's bust in the report on Paedia Express  they decided to act fast in a 'me-too" syndrome aura.

Statute to look like the Greek philosopher to whom this reporter was compared to in terms of intellectual acumen sprang up overnight in Lagos and Owerri at the expense of tax payers money..

It is an undeniable fact of history that Abdulmumini ireyi Adeku,Founder of E.N..M Paedia Express Multimedia  Group of Lagos,Nigeria had promised to endorse any Presidential candidate who will support his press freedom agenda to the tune of N2Billion.

Again,this can be denied but the events and the timing cannot be swept under the carpet even under legal suassion.
