PAEDIA EXPRESS WRITES DR SARAKI ON MACE CRISIS,
SAYS DON'T PULL THE TRIGGER ON BUHARI
Dr Abubakar Bukola Saaraki,
The President,
The Nigerian Senate,
Abuja,Nigeria
18/04/2018.
DR SARAKI IS NIGERIA'S SENATE PRESIDENT
Dear Sir,
On behalf of the Editorial and Policy Board of the E.N.M.Paedia Express
Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria ,i write you today officially for the
sake of our dear nation:Nigeria, its future and its aspirations amongst
other reasons.
As i write this letter Your Excellency, iwrite with a
lot of sorrow in my heart of the dubious direction our nation Nigeria
has continued to head despite the germaine efforts that some of us are
trying to put into it to change the narratives for the better especially
judging from the crystal clear fact that our nation is made up of
people with little or no respect for values.
On the day we briefed
The International Criminal Courts of Justice at The Hague,Netherlands
and the United Nations Security Council on the precarious security
problems in Nigeria it was not because we wanted to play the hero but
because we were alarmed at how a group of rag tag militia group called
Boko Haram and the Herdsmen could now be more sophisticated than the
regular Armed Forces.
On the day i published and wired the letter to
The Hague ,i also had another letter on the table which was on the
possible impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari over the aiding and
abetting of organized banditry in the country but at the last minute i
decided against publishing it as i exercised restraint .
When you
have the power of a lion or that of an elephant it is always good you
use it with utmost tact and wisdom otherwise you can get yourself burnt
in the process.
Distinguished Senator sir,do you know why i refused
to send the said letter to your table for appraisal, it was because i
did not want riots to break out in the North with people killing
themselves in the streets .
I did not send you the letter not
necessarily because i was afraid of been arrested on the orders of Mr
President or been placed under a house arrest situation on his orders
but because i did not wish to see my pen lead to people's death.
As
things stand right now,we at The News office of the E.N.M.Paedia Express
Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria just want Buhari to see out the
remainder of his tenure of office without any form of incidence and if
God says he should come back to office who are we to say know or
challenge it
What Senator Ovie Omo-Agege did or did not do deserves
to be punished but please i beg of you do not pull the trigger on
President Muhammadu Buhari as it is a trap en route state of emergency.
If you do then the worsening divide between the legislature, the executive and the judiciary will be greater than expected.
The decision by the Senate to discuss the Boko Haram,Fulani Herdsmen
crisis amongst others at this critical period of our national life is a
good development which is quite applaud able but do not allow
Omo-Agege's issue to divert your attention from burning national
questions demanding answers.
Despite the fact that we plead with
the National Assembly not to open up any criminal proceedings against
Senator Omo-Agege,we also plead with him to go on a 120 days recess no
matter the level of his innocence like he claimed so as to allow his
angry colleagues who are in the majority calm down.
The Senate as a
matter of urgency should proceed immediately to get its Chief Security
officer dismissed from service for treachery while efforts should be
made to re-assign the National Assembly with new and trusted loyalists
of Dr Saraki and his group in terms of security as what took place is
akin to Abubakar Shekau taking over the reins of power in NIgeria..
I
look forward to sharing and comparing professional media notes beyond
today on statecraft and global affairs with you, your wife ,your sister
and your office: Your exccellency.
Take a Bow!!!
Thanks,
Yours Faithfully,
Abdulmumini Adeku.
