TAX:PAEDIA EXPRESS IS A DEBTOR NOT AN EVADER
Our attention has being drawn to a news report in The Punch
Newspapers of Nigeria of 30th march,2018 on the issue of the tax amnesty under The Voluntary Assets and Income
Declaration Scheme [VAIDS]of the Nigerian government .
For the avoidance of any doubt ,Economic News Media
Enterprises [E.N.M.],the trading names of brand E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia
Group is a registered entity under the corporate affairs commissions
statutes of The Federal Republic of
Nigeria.
For the avoidance of any doubt,we have not paid one naira to
the state coffers in 9 years of doing business hence our status as a debtor is
not in doubt at all as we did own u
publicly in a previous and widely circulated correspondence on this same
subject.
As a corporate entity ,we have held useful discussions with
our team of lawyers regarding this particular issue as we believe we have a
water tight alibi since we have clients who are indebted to us and have not
paid up as well.
While we plead for understanding on the matter ,we have
asked our lawyers to do letters of reminders to those individuals and corporate
firms involved in this very sad development.
Founder of the group:Mr Abdulmumini ireyi Adeku ,has
personally visited the tax office along
the College Road in Ifako Ijaiye,Lagos,Nigeria and has held numerous and very
useful discussions with 2 of the agency's personnel as regards the delays ,this
can be verified for clarity under legal suasion..
We think it is very irresponsible as an entity if we make
any form of bureaucratic declaration under the Voluntary Assets and Income
Declaration Scheme[VAIDS] while still holding out on the real payments as
expected by the Central governments as we think it better for the two to
together.
We will start to pay up as soon as payments are made into our coffers ,we will also be willing to
respond to any forms of enquiry on this officially.
