DEATH,WHERE IS THY STING

7 years ago ,we sat in his office somewhere in Ebutte Metta ,Lagos,Nigeria and dreamt dreams as i was thinking of re-launching my private business and he was rather unhappy about the bad trends in the Nigerian Press which to a large extent was killing the entire society.

The Reverend [Dr ]Moses Illoh was not just some clergy ,he was he was very disciplined and forthright to the core in his approach to life in all ramifications.

i told him about the problems i had encountered in the course of my professional career as a journalist and a businessman ,he offered to ask some church leaders to aid me in financing my dreams.

curiously ,when i re-opened my company's doors for business in 2013 ,2 years after this meeting i did not go back to Baba Moses Illoh for  the much needed financial succor he had promised through the churches.

Then recently ,when i started to think of a possible speaker [s] to be invited for our 10th year anniversary coming up from March,2019 in a year - long festivities ,his names again rang up in my head.

Little did i know that Baba Moses Illoh was bidding this sinful world a happy goodbye forever save for reincarnation .

Reverend [Dr ]Moses Illoh was a one- time President of the Cycling Federation of Nigeria,a Patron of the Lagos Chapter of the Sport Writers Association of Nigeria[S.W.A.N].

May his soul rest in perfect peace,amen.
