There is palpable air of tension in the city of Cairo,Egypt if feelers are anything to go by over the sudden and totally unexpected death of Former Egyptian President ,Mr Mohammed Morsi in a court session where he was said to have been facing a trial.
Checks by The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria shows that there was a divided opinion on the late Egyptian leader.
A source who spoke to this reporter said that it was wrong for anyone to insinuate that Morsi’s death was engineered as just about anyone could have died while in detention or otherwise.
The source urged members of The Muslim Brotherhood ,who seems to have gone underground in Cairo to accept what has befallen their leader with calmness and dignity as resulting into violence and possible reprisals will amount to know good.
He disagreed with those who say that Mohammed Morsi should have been placed under a house arrest situation rather than a full blown prison term since he was a political prisoner rather than the criminal he was been branded .
In a related issue, yet another analyst while reacting to Mr Morsi ‘s death agreed that the issue will surely heat up the polity in Cairo in the weeks ahead as members of the Muslim Brotherhood will not be happy at the death of the politician while facing trial.
Several Analysts are of the opinion that Mr Mohammed Morsi should have been kept under close surveillance in a house arrest situation rather than been kept in a solitary confinement situation in a cell thus possibly shooting up likely medical situations like diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiac arrest.
It is not even known as at press time if Mr Morsi had access to his doctors as his sudden death shows all was not well health wise.
It was gathered that as at press time ,the reportage of his death was trending heavily on social media
