Odion Ighalo tells Hornets Player he’s looking forward to helping Watford achieve their goals this season

DESPITE his Watford career being just one day old, Odion Ighalo says he already knows all about the Hornets.

The striker is of course familiar with many of his new team-mates, having spent time with both Udinese and Granada, but he also revealed to Hornets Player that Watford are a side he has seen a lot of during the last two seasons.

“I am happy, since I first got the call from the president I’ve been very happy. It’s a good opportunity to help the team gain promotion to the Premier League,” he said, speaking to hornetsplayer.co.uk after signing a one-year loan deal.

“Two seasons ago I watched the Play-Offs when they almost gained promotion, and I was following Watford because it’s the same owner as Granada and Udinese.

“Even last season, I’ve been watching their games a lot and they’re a good team. I’m here to help the team, to do my best and make sure we work hard and gain promotion.

“I’m here to put on a Watford shirt now. I have to defend this jersey until the last minute and until we get our promotion.”

ENYEAMA IS NEXT AFRICAN FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.

Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama should be the Next African Footballer of the Year barring no hiccups

ENYEAMA IS NEXT AFRICAN FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
Not since the days of Cameroonian legendary goalkeeper, Thomas Nkono and his other able deputies like Joseph Antoine Bell, Jacque Songo’o has Africa and the rest of the world seen such a performer in between the sticks.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroun of old had such great names like Gregoire M’bida ,Roger Milla, Theophilous Abega,Victor akem N’dip, Francios Omam Biyik,Kana Andre Biyik,Cyrille Makanaky,Jean Claude Pagal,Benjamin Massing,Steven Tataw, Rigobert Song and of late Samuel Eto’o Fils yet it was to the goalkeeping department they looked up to for inspiration.
In the race to the 1990 World Cup ,The Cameroonianside had to use a Presidential Chartered jet to ferry  Thomas Nkono for the crucial second leg match against the  game some Super Eagles of Nigeria  which the former won by an odd goal en route to a  famous adventure at the World Cup in 1990 dubbed Italia 90.
At the 2014 World Cup which just ended in Brazil,Vincent Enyeama dive, parried, caught, cuddled  the ball as he kept many of the opponents  at bay while at the same time barking out orders of  instructions to his wall of Defense during the course of the one month soccer festivities as eh captured the imaginations of fans around the world.
Before now Nigerians had known such illustrious names like Inuwa Rigogo,Peter Rufai,Wilfred Agbonivbare,Emmanuel Okala,Peter Fregene,Ikeoluwa Shorunmu,Alloysious Agu among so many others but nobody gave any form of serious attention when ,Vincent Enyeama made his debut at the global level at the 2002 Senior World Cup for the Nigerian full national soccer squad, Super Eagles of Nigeria until he showed a lot of guts against the Three Lions of  England as he stopped the latter from coasting home leading to a barren draw.
Since then the Akwa-Ibom born goaltender has not looked back as poor defending and a combination of ferocious attacking by Nigeria’s opponents in major global and continental showpiece meant that he always had to be at his best as he was always harassed in goal.
In the 2010 World Cup, Nigeria lost tow of its games in the preliminary rounds yet Vincent Enyeama was Voted Man of the Match on two occasions out of the three matches the Super eagles played thus underlying his importance to the team.
In the just concluded 2014 World Cup held in Brazil, Vincent Enyeama’s brilliance contributed immensely to taking Nigeria to the second round of the competition before been booted out by France.
At the end of the First round ,Enyeama was voted the fifth overall best player and the best goalkeeper of the entire tournament in terms of individual performance.
Though his mistake was punished by the Les Bleus of France in the second round ,he was among the  11 goalkeepers nominated for the Golden gloves category of the World Cup in 2014.
3 goalkeepers were later shortlisted for the final draw as Manuel Neuer of Bayern Munich, Germany was voted the best goalkeeper of the world.
Analysts were quick to point out that a goalkeeper is as good as his wall of Defense and that had Vincent Enyeama had the caliber of Players that  Manuel Neuer  had around him ,perhaps he could have won the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament  aside from the golden gloves thus emulating Oliver Khan at the 2002 World Cup .
This past season ,:2013/2014 ,his excellent form in between the sticks for French Soccer giants, Lille Metro pole ensured a passage to the lucrative UEFA Champions League for 2014/2015 season..,He was picked as the best African player in France winning the Marc Vivienne Foe Award in the process.
He was also 2nd best goalkeeper in the entire French Championnat,he has already been picked  as the 3rd best African player by Jeune Afrique at the 2014 World Cup but his been more influential on the field of play at club level  than his rivals from Algeria means that barring no major hiccup ,Nigerian born International and Iconic goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama should soon be crowned as the next African Football of the Year.

C.I.A. NOW A FULL BLOWN TERROR GROUP
………………..MANIPULATED FLIGHT FROM ORIGINAL PATH TO SEPARATISTS
BOMBING BEARING
…………………COMMITTED THIS HEINOUS CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY TO IGNITE A HATE CAMPAIGN AGAINST PUTIN’S RUSSIA
…………………MALAYSIAN AIRLINES MAY NEED BAILOUT TO SURVIVE LATEST CRASH
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU, OLIVER KNOX.
The United States actually tracked the missile that brought down the Malaysian Airlines Flight 17.
Investigations by Paedia Express Multimedia through agency sources monitored in Lagos, Nigeria shows that a Senior administration official of the American Presidency actually told reporters recently.
“U.S. intelligence followed “this specific missile” as it was fired from a geographic area controlled by Russian backed separatists now in Eastern Europe”said the official who spoke anonymously.
It followed the near vertical flight path characteristic of an SA-11Surface –to-air missile launch.
America has since declared that it was aware of the missile that destroyed the second Malaysian Airline recently in which at least 298 people died.
Now if they were humane and wanted to prevent the death of the passengers in the crashed airline flight 17,they should have informed the authorities in Holland  since the majority of those in ill fated airline were from Holland.
They could equally have informed Malaysian Airlines management but because there written script was that they wanted the plane to come to harms way so they auto tracked it to the Ukrainian Airspace .
In war time ,there is always a no –fly zone declaration in place, so you do not need to be a prophet to know that who ever was in control in Ukraine will shoot down the Malaysian Airlines passengers  flight 17.
The United States leadership already knew that when the blame game begins ,Russian President Vladmir Putin will be fed to the dogs and this is what has happened so far.
It would be recalled that Boeing ,the manufacturer of the “allegedly missing Malaysian missing plane” had declared that as far back as 2006 that they had the expertise to change the path or trajectory of an aero-plane  which they manufacture  aside from security agencies like the C.I.A .,M15 ,if they have reasons to believe that there was a problem of urgent national security in the United States and any territory of any of there allies.
Russian leader, Vladmir Putin,an ex K.G.B. agent recently disclosed that his reasons for annexing Crimea in the  Ukraine was to prevent N.A.T.O from gaining a foothold on a territory so close to Russian soil.
The United States using its position as the dominant force in global politics lied to the whole world for well over two decades on the bombing of the plane over Lockerbie in Scotland but now we all know that the incident happened as a result of an Iranian retaliation which the western media does not report about.
They were fully briefed about the droppings of the Atomic war head in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan which left at least 6milllion people dead in seconds but today , the imperialists media does not see this as a form of terrorism.
C.I.A. has been severally indicted in covert operations around the world which they themselves may not be too proud of  if exposed.
They were responsible for the assassination of Former President John Fitzgerald Kennedy over the Cuban missile crisis, till date that murder has not been officially resolved but there is always a Kennedy family member in government fueling speculations that this was a wider effort at a major cover-up by the White House in Washington D.C..
They engineered the killing and removal from office of Chilean leader, Salvatore Allende ,they brought in a certain Augusto Pinochet who can best be described as a major tragedy in global politics.
They used the American state machinery to lie to the whole world about a weapons of mass destruction that never existed save for the fertile imagination of a drug addicted leader, Mr George Walker Bush,Iraq is still in disarray many years after Saddam Hussein there protege whom they supported against Iran was killed.
They supported Saddam Hussein even when he was using Chemical weapons against the Iranians
They conspired with local militias and even terror groups to kill Former Libyan Leader, Muammar Gaddaffi , till this day that nation is ruled by armed gangs.
For several years , C.I.A inspired United States Government to sponsored ,Dr Jonas Savimbi to wage war against a recognized democracy in Angola simply because it was Marxist oriented and  Savimbi was preaching capitalism.
In 1988 when Canadian athlete ,Ben Johnson got his career screwed up when he took banned substances ,American track and Field legend,Carl Lewis was guilty too but the American media looked the other way.
Each time, The United States uses its fearsome media propaganda to ignite a hate campaign on its victim  ,this is what it is currently using in the war between them and the Russians as it concerns Ukraine.

Over a week ago,An Air Algeria flight flying from Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso to Algiers crashed amidst very bad weather somewhere in Northern Mali  but terrorism is not been ruled out either
The wreckage of an Air Algerie flight that crashed early Thursday has been found in the northern Mali desert as at press time , officials in Burkina Faso, where the plane took off, said on state-owned RTB television.
No survivors were found, according to Burkina Faso Gen. Gilbert Diendere.

At least 50 of the passengers aboard the MD-83 were French. Mali will lead the investigation into the crash.
French forces, including two fighter jets, helped search for the aircraft, along with Algerian and U.N. personnel in the region, Fabius said.

A Nigerian weightlifter has become the first medallist to fail a drugs test at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow after testing positive for two banned substances.
Chika Amalaha, 16, became the youngest woman to win a weightlifting title in Games history when she took gold in the 53kg category last Friday. However, the sample she provided afterwards showed traces of amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide, which are prohibited as diuretics and masking agents under class five of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s list.
A statement from the Commonwealth Games Federation confirmed that Amalaha had been “issued with a notice of disclosure” and that she had been provisionally suspended from the Games. It also said that she would pursue her right to have her B sample tested independently, which will happen at a London laboratory on Wednesday.
The Nigerian Weightlifting Federation was suspended in 2001 after a succession of doping violations came to light. As a consequence, none of the federation’s competitors were allowed to take part in the Commonwealth Games in Manchester the following year.
Three years ago, a Nigerian newspaper claimed that drug-taking was rife throughout the country’s sports. After one weightlifting event, the newspaper reported: “A tour of the stadium revealed discarded cases of used syringes, empty injectable vials of stanazol and sustanol, packets and bottles of different anabolic substances.”
If Amalaha’s B sample also produces a positive test result then she will be stripped of her title and the silver medallist, Dike Toua, of Papua New Guinea, will be awarded the gold medal instead.
While it is not the route Toua would have wanted, it would be a hugely popular achievement throughout the sport as the 30-year-old is a revered figure in weightlifting circles. At Sydney in 2000 she became the first woman to lift weights in an Olympics event.
Sir Craig Reedie, the Scotsman who chairs Wada, expressed his concern that an athlete such as Amalaha should apparently be taking drugs at such a young age.
“I am very disappointed that somebody as young as that appears to have committed an offence at a multi-sport event like the Commonwealth Games,” Reedie said.
Weightlifting has been at the centre of a number of drugs scandals down the years but Mike Hooper, the CGF chief executive, said that it still had a place in the family of sport.
“I think weightlifting is a fantastic sport and a strong Commonwealth and Olympic sport,” Hooper said. “I think the issue here is about showing we have a robust anti-doping programme in place.”
