 CANADA WILL BE 150 YEARS SOON

Prince Edward Island ,alongside the rest of Canada will next year be celebrating a vital milestone: the 150 years of the 1864 Charlottetown conference, an event which Paved the way to what is now known as the Canadian Confederacy .
In a  brochure handed over to Paedia Express Multimedia exclusively, it was discovered that on September 1st ,1864,23 colonial delegates actually arrived in Charlottetown and discussions that followed formed what the foundation of what is now the modern day ,Canada.
Celebrations are been planned throughout the year, starting with the New Year’s eve party ,other events planned for 2014 are the Canada day festivities held on July 1st ,a series of summer concerts and founders week expected to take place around August 28th to September 7th this year.
Paedia Express Multimedia also learnt that a celebration Zone   carnival and party will be staged on the very spot where the fathers of Canadian Confederacy came ashore in 1864.
Visitors are expected to discuss politics and debate the new nation with the confederation players  aside other vital issues on Canada.
Checks also showed that there will be public exhibition and sharing of food ,culture and heritage of the various regions of Canada as the event wears on.
In a related issue, for the third year in a row, Canada has been ranked the world’s best nation in terms of overall reputation.
The designation is derived from the Reputation Institute  survey, a global private consulting firm based in New York and Copenhagen.
The body evaluated the reputations of at least 50 different countries  based on an online survey with 27,000 people from eight of the most industrialized nations of the world.
The Country repack measures such criteria’s  like trust, esteem ,admiration ,good feelings, and public perception towards the nations used in the survey.
According to Mr Nicholas Trad, R.I.’s Executive Partner, there is a strong correlation between a country’s reputation  and an intention  to visit it by a tourist.
“A country’s reputation is its personal calling card and Canada’s tourism brand is expanding into all corners of the globe”Said Michelle Mckenzie,CTC President and CEO.
