By World class hospitality ranking,Intercontinental Hotel in the Heart of Victoria Island Business District is the best hotel brand in Nigeria

The R and A City Hotels Group is splashing  a whooping sum of not less than a billion naira  in jerking p the status of the hospitality firm from a local player to a globally accepted brand.

In an investigation conducted by Paedia Express Multimedia in the hotels premises off Allen Avenue in Ikeja,Lagos,it was discovered that work was on-going by the contractors as they worked towards completing the project which is billed for commissioning by October,2014.

When Paedia Express Multimedia visited the hotel site under construction ,artisan were seen either chiseling or hammering nails into Various structures.

It was discovered  that brown glazed tiles were used  instead of emulsion paints to plaster the walls of the hotel thus  enhancing its aesthetics more.

Strong beams of column and pillars were constructed to separate the car park  and drive into the hotel by contractors as aluminum were seen pasted on the walls of the hotel  to accommodate on other round of beautification.

It is not immediately known as at press time if the new extension will include among other things a casino but an insider insists the rooms in the new building under construction ranges from 50 to 60rooms.
