There is a palpable unrest at not-for-profit body, Ifako-Ijaiye Senior Citizen ,formally called Nightingale over a sum of N4million .

In an investigation conducted by Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos, Nigeria ,it was discovered  the body was previously owned and managed by somebody else but now it is been managed by  the Chairman of the local government ,Mr Toba Oke.

Paedia Express Multimedia learnt  that they spend at least N4million to take care of the elderly  people on a monthly  basis but was discovered that this was untrue.

It was noted that the only time that aged were given anything  was when they were given N1,000 and not everybody got the money.

The source speaks:”It was that day  that he promised to give the elderly  been supported by the NGO with a N2,000 grant on a monthly basis,but I can  assure you that since November last year till April this year”

“2014 nothing has happened in this regard may be he will fulfill his promises later am not sure,Toba Oke’s tenure of office as Ifako Local Government Chairman will be ending by October ,2014  and nobody is sure if he will fulfill his promises “

“the elders concerned insists that they  will no longer vote for him but from what we heard he has settled APC party elders at the top and so he will get selected again to run for Senate”

Paedia Express Multimedia heard that a lot of letters had being written to  Mr Toba but he has refused to give any listening ear to their pleas aside from refusing to fur fill his electioneering promises.
