GENERAL BUHARI SAYS THAT THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF FOOD IN NIGERIA IF ELECTED AS PRESIDENT IN 2015
The former Nigerian Head of state and the All Progressive
Congress[A.P.C],General Muhammadu Buhari has rolled out its economic agenda for
the nation as 2015 elections approaches.
In his manifesto now in circulation ,a copy of which was
given to Paedia Express Multimedia at the recently concluded APC Presidential
Primaries and Convention ,General Buhari said it his dream to make

world if elected to power.
The Nigerian statesman said that he will use his office to
modernize the N.N.P.C such that it will be commercially viable after it has
been stripped of its regulatory powers so that it can tap into benefits of
global capital market.
He assured that apart from gas flaring coming to an end
,half of the gas produced in Nigeria will be sold here in Nigeria.
In the area of health care ,he said that he will increase
the number of doctors and increasing a
investments in the growth sector.
According to him ,areas like Youth ,sports and Culture will
be properly harnessed in other to build the Nigeria of his dreams through
establishment of sport academies, reviving of our football culture and
strengthening of the capacity of the Nollywood movie industry.
He revealed that he will embark upon a huge infrastructural
building era as he will start and finish a 5,000 kilometer super highway and
another 6,800 kilometer of railway track
to be finished in 2019.
He also pointed out that he intends to create a National
Infrastructural Development Bank at nominal interest rates.
General Buhari will also be targeting up to 20 percent of
its annual budget to shore up the quality of our educational sector.
In terms of agriculture, The Daura Born General promised a
complete overhaul of the nations
farming sector.
He promised a robust
relationship with all of Nigeria’s foreign allies at all levels.
He affirmed that in politics and the area of governance ,all
contracts over N100 Million will be disclosed in the public prior to award and
during implementation in line with the spirit of transparency.
His words:”I will bring permanent peace and solution to the
insurgency issue in the North East ,The Niger Delta and other conflict prone
states and areas such as Plateua ,Benue ,BauchiBornu,Abia,Taraba,Yobe and
Kaduna in order to engender a national unity and social harmony”
