Barring no last minute irregularities ,the Social Democratic Party,S.D.P has boasted that it has more than what it takes to beat all comers in the 2015 governorship elections in Taraba State.

In an exclusive phone interview between The Media and Communications Head of Chief David Sabo Kente’s Political Organisation,Mr Henry Ibya from Jalingo,the party disclosed that they were the team to beat in the state during the 2015 general elections.

He explained that the party has discovered that the incumbent Peoples Dem,ocratic party have perfected a lot of strategies to rig the elections in 2015 in the state and as such were calling on the citizenry to defend their votes at the polls.

He recalled that his principal,Chief Sabo Kente had  filed a petition at the Peoples Democratic Party National Secretariat as regards the outcome of the badly organized primaries but it will appear that some very powerful forces were doing everything possible to prevent the wheel of justice from seeing the light of the day and this was what made them to cross over to the S.D.P.

He noted that during the shadow elections that was conducted by the elders of the party for aspirants from  Taraba Southern Senatorial District where the position of governorship was zoned to Chief Kente had defeated all his opponents thus proving that his political wizardry was not just on paper.

He paid tributes to Chief Kente’s extra ordinary sterling qualities as a philanthropist of note who’s many years of selfless service to the people culminated in the people openly declaring their love for his candidature as against the interest of some godfather.

He took a swipe at the PDP Governorship candidate, Chief Darius Ishaku as an usurper who wanted to reap where he did not sow ,saying that the latter lived the bulk of his life in Zaria,Kaduna and Abuja unlike his boss who had served his people  for the better part of his life.

He assured that it was because of the massive support that his boss had received from the people morally all through his travails that then encouraged him that if there was a level playing field in the elections in 2015 in the state he will again defeat Chief Darius Ishaku.

He noted that the ticket of the S.D.P has already been given to his boss to contest at the polls alongside other heavyweights like General Ishaya Bauka who all crossed over from the PDP and they were all sure that all things been equal the duo among others will win.

He added that as at press time the Peoples Democratic Party in the state was in a complete mess as all the heavyweights were behind his boss save for some few one’s who are still in the PDP ,saying that their confidence however stems from the fact that all the people in the streets were behind his boss and they were the one’s who will determine the election.
