GOVERNOR AMOSUN STOP NIECE’S
2015 POLITICAL AMBITION
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
She is a middle height ebony complexioned beauty in her mid
twenties .
She is the secretary of Ifo Local Government and is the
niece of Ogun state Governor,Senator
Ibikunle Amosun .
Recently Number 23 ,Olufemi Ajayi Street off College Road in
Ifako Ijaiye was agog as residents were discussing in excited tones about how
Mrs Tinuolouwa Ayomitunde Bankole ,a mother of one had started to prepare
communication materials like handbills ,posters ,vests, facecaps among others as she prepared to enter the ring to join other gladiators who were to fight for places under the All
Progressive Congress for a seat in the Ogun
state House of Assembly come 2015.
Many declared that since her Mother’s elder brother ,Senator
Ibikunle Amosun was the Governor of the
state and Leader of the All Progressive Congress [APC]in the state presently then
it was a done deal.
In the run up to the primaries held recently in Abeokuta,
many expected her to win convincingly but she got a rude shock.
Insiders told Paedia Express Multimedia that Governor Ibikunle
Amosun tore up her electoral registration papers for the primaries into the
Ogun state House of Assembly for A.P.C
as he refused to abuse the position given to him as party leader.
He is said to have torn his niece forms into shreds
,insisting that it was morally wrong for him to accept that.
This is a great and positive leadership contribution from
Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State as this kind of posture is very rare in
Nigerian politics.
It will appear that
the crisis between Aremo Olusegun Osoba now of the Social Democratic Party
[S.D.P] and Governor Ibikunle Amosun over who controls and runs the show in the
state may have made the latter to nip
his niece ambition in the bud so that things do not aggravate beyond
repairs since even he does not know his fate yet in 2015 Governorship elections
as an air of treachery pervades the Abeokuta political mine fields as the
election draws near.
