GUN DUEL OVER 62 HECTARES OF LAND IN MOWE
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.

DUE TO THE REAL ESTATE BOOM IN NIGERIA IN RECENT TIMES,CONFLICTS ARE NOW BEEN SETTLED WITH THE USAGE OF LOCAL MILITIA
An Ogun State of Nigeria’s High Court ruling recently in favor of Makinde Family
over   a 62 hectare of land has now ignited a firefight.
Investigations by Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria over the “62hectres ” parcel of land shows that several interested parties fought over the land with Mr Jamiu Makinde ,Head of the Makinde Family finally getting the judicial right at Shagbon in Ogun State.
Paedia Express Multimedia gathered that what further fuelled the crisis in the area where the 62 hectares is located in Mowe,Ogun state is that the Makinde Family instead of working within the framework of the court judgment in its favor decided to add more hectares to the arrangement thus leading to a major disagreement.
An impeccable source told this reporter that some people who were supposed to work at the location as at press time could not do so  due to a gun duel between the Makinde Family and land speculators  fondly called Omo-onile in local Yoruba dialect ,who were employed  by other parties in the area.
The source revealed that some elderly women were seriously injured during the gun duel but did not report any death as at press time.
He however hinted that due to the tension created in the area by the endless land tussle
He could not rule out another gun duel which may result into possible loss of lives on both side of the divide.
He added that other interested parties in the area had employed the services of Trico,a real estate agent to confront the tyranny  of the highly influential Makinde Family.
