S.D.P FLAGBEARER TELLS SUPPORTERS TO BUCKLE UP FOR 2015 ELECTIONS

GENERAL THEOPHILOUS DANJUMA[RTD] IS SAID TO BE BEHIND THE CRISIS IN THE P.D.P IN TARABA STATE THAT LED CROWD FAVOURITE,CHIEF DAVID SABO KENTE TO FLEE TO THE RIVAL,SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY[S.D.P]

Supporter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Taraba State, have been urged to intensify meaningful efforts towards putting finishing touches to their campaigns rather than relaxing at home with the believe that enough had been done in terms of campaigns for votes.
Governorship candidate of the SDP in Taraba State, Chief David Sabo Kente made this remarks while addressing supporters of the party in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital recently.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the governorship hopeful, Henry Ibya who had a chat with this medium, Chief David Sabo Kente observed that if supporters continue with their zeal, the spirit of the electorates would remain alive and thereby keep their memories fresh from falling into the antics of cheap blackmails, deliberate rumour and deceits of desperate opponents.
He said, “the governorship hopeful noted that the vacuum created by the postponement of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should be considered as a period of stock taking and assessing what has been done so far in terms of SDP campaigns, public enlightenment on voter registration and collection of PVCs as well as what is needed to be done.
“Chief Kente who said no human being is strong enough to stop the divine cause of history further charged the SDP supporters in the state to remain committed to the cause and advised them to beware of desperate politicians who would be all out to cause disharmony and progress of the party.”
The governorship hopeful further observed that some politicians have devised a new means of false pretence either by outright lies to members of the public, collecting PVCs from unsuspecting members of the public, with mostly supporters of their opponents as victims and thereby disenfranchise them from carrying out their legitimate responsibility at the polls.
He therefore advised the SDP supporters not to part with their PVCs to anyone under whatever pretext, stressing that the INEC PVC is the only weapon that would enhance the people the capacity to elect leaders of their choice.
The SDP governorship candidate further assured the people that his administration, if voted into power in the next dispensation, would give total commitment to peace, reconstruction and reconciliation of Taraba State for the overall benefit of the people, observing that other things would follow as additional, but was also quick to appeal to the supporters to remain law-abiding and prayerful, noting that the battle belongs to God.
