Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos state during a recent visit by his possible successor ,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode to possibly douse the tension between the duo

Facts as at press time suggests an air of forceful peace inside the Government House in Alausa Secretariat ,Lagos ,Nigeria over the stormy relationship between Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola and his Former Accountant General ,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode.

It would be recalled that Paedia Express Multimedia had reported albeit exclusively on several occasions on how Mr Ambode was  kept inside the cells of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for three months in the days of the Tinubu regime but refused to release documents that will implicate his boss thus making him now a trusted ally of the godfather.

Paedia Express multimedia had also informed the Nigerian public of how Ambode was publicly called a thief by Governor Fashola over a missing Lagos state money and this was what eventually forced the hands of the chartered accountant to resign his plum job.

Now Paedia Express Multimedia can reveal to the world exclusively again that at the heart of the fight for supremacy between the duo is the local government funds which was released by Late Niegrian President ,Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua totaling around N10Billion.

A source speaks:”Tinubu said that he needed the money and kept disturbing Fashola for it but the latter tried to shake him off as he affirmed that eh needed the sum for state project and that Ashiwaju should make do with what he is already getting”

“but unknown to him ,Ambode withdrew the money and gave it to Ashiwaju without Fashola ‘s knowledge and this was why the Governor was enraged”

In the battle and war of words that ensued between the two sources told this reporter exclusively how Ambode gave Governor Fashola an upper cut and even held him by the cloths as he reacted angrily at his boss’s insults.

He was later advised to resign in order to stem the tide of possible arrest  and dismissal so as to protect his future politically and afterwards ,godfather Tinubu started to send him on various forms of training overseas to prepare him for the top job in Alausa.
