Have you ever played poker in a casino or better still have you ever used a dice in a game well it would appear this is what is happening in Nigeria at the moment by The Presidency in the recent spate of appointments made in the polity.

The bag containing the box of Pandora called Nigerian politics was again opened recently ,but this time by Nigeria’s supposed President,Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari in a style only he can explain its rationale dealt the rest of Nigeria below the Rivers Niger and Benue a deadly blow.

He had appointed at least 31 members of his kitchen cabinet and only 6 people or so came from the South with the rest coming from his Northern Nigerian block.

Before now.the dam right stupid said that General Muhammadu Buhari did not know jerk about politics and that he was in love with his cattle in his ranch in Daura and watching NatGeo World on Satellite Television but how wrong they were.

The 73 years old beanpole is now turning into a master of the game with his craftiness and has now moved quickly  to warn all those interested in The Presidency in 2019 to keep off as there was going to be no forms of vacancy in Aso Rock,the seat of power in Nigeria Since his second term has been rubber stamped already with his niece  now the Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission[I.N.E.C].

How he intends to get her confirmed in the weeks and months ahead is something now that he will have to worry about.

Before getting to this terrible level in such a very short time, strange bed fellows like the New P.D.P,A.C.N,A.N.P.P,A.P,G,A ought to have gone into a political coalition rather than full scale merger like the practice around the world on account of differences in ideology because in Nigeria the only ideology was money they have now all ran into a massive brick wall with nowhere to hide anymore.

Most of the decisions that would have being taken under a coalition arrangement  would have been documented  for legal reasons to stem the tide of betrayal but now the poor planning two men has now thrown at least 170 million Nigerians into confusion as at press time.

Senior Special Adviser to the President,MrFemi Adeshina has however defended  his boss from fierce  attacks on all fronts over the matter saying that there was going to be a correction but with 19 ministers to be appointed soon instead of the constitutional 36 it is strongly doubted if Mr Adeshina is not living in wonderland.

Once upon a time ,President Muhammadu Buhari now fully seated on the throne and fully dressed in his regalia as Nigeria’s leader  opened a fresh vista in the history of deceit  among politicians  when he decided to rubbish his alliance with the South that helped him to a famously celebrated victory recently in the 2015 elections when he shoved all aside in his series of appointments  of members of his kitchen cabinet.

It is now  almost certain  that the agenda to make Mallam Nasir El Rufai his direct replacement when he leaves office finally is now beginning to get clearer .

When in 2002 ,Buhari made it public knowledge of his thirst for political power only the likes of Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu,Pastor Tunde Bakare and Late Dr Abubakar Shola Saraki welcomed him with open arms and even ventured to give him” water to drink” as the rest of the entire South looked elsewhere in their love for whoredom rather than transparency ,so the Fulani Bororo man took notice and never forgot.

In the 2015 general elections ,the South West who did not vote for him in 2003,2007 and 2011 suddenly voted for him not because they wanted to but because Tinubu their political demigod asked them to and again this was not lost to the Fulani man who has now returned to serve them sour grapes in return.

An analyst who will not want his names in the prints from the South West said that Buhari was in order as  fas as he was concerned and that no one should be grudge him for picking people for his kitchen cabinet based on merit rather than primordial sentiments.

If anybody derseved Buhari’s sympathy it should be the Igbos who did not vote for him on principles rather than greed as  displayed by the Yorubas.

However  some culture centric Nigerians said that they feel insulted that Buhari thinks that only Northerners are honest ,while some opinions have argued that they do not care if Buhari selects his men from the moon but that all what they wanted was their performance in office.

Every nation has its peculiarities or sensibilities and this factor may determine the level of peace or trouble in such an environment .

In India,the about a billion people cherish their Hindu heritage,they will also not take it kindly with anyone that spits on Mahatma Gandhi’s grave.
