PAEDIA FOUNDER “BARRED “ AT SENATOR REMI TINUBU’S TOWN HALL MEETING.

PAEDIA FOUNDER “BARRED “ AT SENATOR REMI TINUBU’S
TOWN HALL MEETING.

MRS REMI TINUBU PLACES PERSONAL SENTIMENTS AHEAD OF NATIONAL VALUES,WHAT A PITY
The founder of  Paedia Express Multimedia Group ,Mr Abdulmumini Ireyi Adeku got a little dose of his own medicine when yesterday he was barred from the  editorial coverage of the publicly advertised one day town hall meeting of Senator Remi Tinubu who is representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the National assembly.
The reporter turned business man was trapped in the traffic on Third Main Land  Motor Way Axis  did not get to the venue of the event till around 11:00 A.M.
Efforts made by the reporter to explain to the unfriendly looking security team of the National Assembly member that the politician had made the vent a public affair and never said on Television Continental commercials that the invites were restricted fell on deaf ears.
Not even the pains taken by  Mr Adeku to identify himself using his Paedia Express Multimedia’s identity card made any meaning to the security team of the Senator.
A team from Galaxy Television met Mr Adeku by the gates of Muson Centre,Venue of  the event  and were however allowed in by the organizers .
In fairness to the organizers,Mr Adeku spotted some hard core All Progressives Congress  [A.P.C]members holding their invitation cards as they made their way  to the event  venue but Mrs Tinubu did not in any way restrict her invitation in the paid advert seen by the viewing audience worldwide.
Mr Adeku speaks:”I challenge you guys to take me into the hall and look  for my colleagues ,if I cannot get anyone to identify me publicly as a reporter  then handcuff me and hand me over to the nearest police station”
The team of security men obviously acting a script eventually allowed Mr Adeku into Muson Centre  at 12 Noon ,when the event  had ended and no questions to ask Mrs Tinubu on her stewardship in the Senate.
At the reception ,two hefty  looking security men who should be in the North East fighting to free Nigeria of the scourge of Boko  Haram and not be in Lagos to intimidate the people nailed Paedia Express Multimedia’s coverage for the day as they again denied Mr Adeku entry passage.
Meanwhile ,politicians usually are fond of accusing media firms seen as unfriendly as not being professional in news gathering and sourcing but now efforts being made by Paedia Express Multimedia to be seen as fair is been frustrated as well.
