Have you ever played poker in a casino or better still have you ever used a dice in a game well it would appear this is what is happening in Nigeria at the moment by The Presidency in the recent spate of appointments made in the polity.

The bag containing the box of Pandora called Nigerian politics was again opened recently ,but this time by Nigeria’s supposed President,Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari in a style only he can explain its rationale dealt the rest of Nigeria below the Rivers Niger and Benue a deadly blow.

He had appointed at least 31 members of his kitchen cabinet and only 6 people or so came from the South with the rest coming from his Northern Nigerian block.

Senior Special Adviser to the President,MrFemi Adeshina has however defended  his boss from fierce  attacks on all fronts over the matter saying that there was going to be a correction but with 19 ministers to be appointed soon instead of the constitutional 36 it is strongly doubted if Mr Adeshina is not living in wonderland.

In the 2015 general elections ,the South West who did not vote for him in 2003,2007 and 2011 suddenly voted for him not because they wanted to but because Tinubu their political demigod asked them to and again this was not lost to the Fulani man who has now returned to serve them sour grapes in return.

An analyst who will not want his names in the prints from the South West said that Buhari was in order as  far as he was concerned and that no one should be grudge him for picking people for his kitchen cabinet based on merit rather than primordial sentiments.

If anybody deserved Buhari’s sympathy it should be the Igbos who did not vote for him on principles rather than greed as  displayed by the Yorubas.

However  some culture centric Nigerians said that they feel insulted that Buhari thinks that only Northerners are honest ,while some opinions have argued that they do not care if Buhari selects his men from the moon but that all what they wanted was their performance in office.

Every nation has its peculiarities or sensibilities and this factor may determine the level of peace or trouble in such an environment .

In India,the about a billion people cherish their Hindu heritage,they will also not take it kindly with anyone that spits on Mahatma Gandhi’s grave.
