DEFT MOVES!!!
HOW TINUBU SENT AREGBESHOLA TO
FAYOSE
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
THE RECENT MEETING BETWEEN THESE TWO POLITICIANS IS ROCKING THE BOAT IN THE POLITY
News just hitting The News Office
Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria suggests that the recent
visit of The Governor of the state of Oshun in Nigeria,Ogbeni Rauf Aregbeshola
to his counterpart in Ekiti state,Chief Ayodele Fayose is the clearest sign that
the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress ,Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed
Tinubu was now on a warring path with other heavyweights in his party who were
not willing to dance to his tunes.
A
peep into the camp of the man fondly called the Lion of Bourdillon by
friends and foes alike shows that even if the whole world deserts him ,Ogbeni
Rauf Aregbeshola is still one of his few hard core and loyal associates.
A source who spoke to this reporter
said it was practically impossible for Aregbeshola to have visited Fayose
without a Tinubu’s input and instruction.
He insisted that the meeting whose
true contents were not divulged was not detached from the current conflict in
the A.P.C. where the politician and
business tycoon had been sidelined by most of those he helped to get to power.
The source used his encounter with
this reporter to pay tributes to Aregbeshola’s bulldozing ability on the field
of politics saying he was actually one of the people that made Tinubu thick and
that insinuations that the two of them were no longer together was wide off the
mark.
The source reminded this reporter
that he had exclusively warned this reporter in December,2015 that Tinubu had
told his loyalists ahead of the current crisis to prepare for a stormy time
ahead and that what was playing out did not catch him by surprise in any way.
A lot of politicians within the
Ekiti State and Oshun State axis on both sides of the divide have been throwing
verbal stones at each other since the visit and reception as they saw it as an
insult to their political psyche.
Checks also showed that even A.P.C
National leaders are moving quickly to dispel reports in several quarters that Tinubu
single handedly created and funded the party as against what they believe was a
joint effort.
