INQUEST RUBBISH CLAIMS OF SHIITE AND SUNNI DIVIDE LINKED TO  NIGERIAN STUDENTS IN TURKEY
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
An inquest launched by the News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia group regarding whether it was right for people to think that the  government had kept quiet on the recent arrest of 50 Nigerian students schooling in Turkey over alleged links to  Fethullah Gülen and that the Islamic leader was probably a Shiite and not Sunni has led to a no-guilty position at least for now.
Checks by The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria suggests that the head of the Gullen Movement actually believes in some forms of Sunni  and was never Shiite in orientation.
In a related issue, the over 1,000 years sectoral division between the Sunnis and the Shiite may be playing out in the current imprisonment of 50 Nigerian students in Turkey.
A public affairs analyst while speaking to The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria affirmed that he did not see what the nation was benefitting from Turkey to the extent that 2 to 3 weeks  after the issue was reported in the press ,The Nigerian Presidency was still keeping mute.
In his analysis ,he suspectd that while the likes of President Muhammadu Buhari,Recep Erdogan of Turkey were sunnis ,he felt may be Fethulleh Gullen may be a Shiite Muslim and this was why Abuja was confused on what steps to take on the heated issue.
He warned that except Nigeria recalls its Ambassador home for consultations and asks that of Turkey to go back home the crisis may linger on for a while.
He added that he was not comfortable with the lukewarm attitude of Nigeria’s foreign ministry over the affairs as they ought to be briefing the nation regularly on the incident.
As at press time, the News office Desk of Paedia Express learnt that at least close to 20 Shiite Muslims were killed in clashes with security agencies in Northern Nigeria as they celebrated an annual ritual with the Iranian Authorities calling on their Nigerian counterparts to exercise caution in handling cases of sectarian violence in the land
Meanwhile about 50 Nigerian students are still in custody of the Turkish regime of Recep Erdogan as at press time.

Muhammed Fethullah Gülen ([fetuɫˈɫɑh ɟyˈlen] born 27 April 1941) is a Turkish preacher,[4] former imam,[4][5] writer,[6] and political figure.[7] He is the founder of the Gülen movement (known as Hizmet meaning service in Turkish), and the inspiration figure for its largest organization, the Alliance for Shared Values. He currently lives in self-imposed exile in the United States, residing in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.[8][9][10]
Gülen teaches a Hanafi version of Islam, deriving from Sunni Muslim scholar Said Nursî's teachings. Gülen has stated that he believes in science, interfaith dialogue among the People of the Book, and multi-party democracy.[11] He has initiated such dialogue with the Vatican[12] and some Jewish organizations.[13]
Gülen is actively involved in the societal debate concerning the future of the Turkish state, and Islam in the modern world. He has been described in the English-language media as an imam "who promotes a tolerant Islam which emphasises altruism, hard work and education" and as "one of the world's most important Muslim figures."[11][14]
Gülen was an ally of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan before 2013. The alliance was destroyed after the 2013 corruption investigations in Turkey.[15][16][17][18][19] Erdogan accused Gülen of being behind the corruption investigations.[20] He is currently on Turkey's most-wanted-terrorist list and is accused of leading what the current Turkish officials call the Gulenist Terror Organisation (FETÖ).[21] A Turkish criminal court issued an arrest warrant for Gülen.[22][23] Turkey is demanding the extradition of Gülen from the United States.[16][24][25] However, U.S. figures in general do not believe he is associated with any terrorist activity, and have requested evidence to be provided by the Turkish Government to substantiate the allegations in the warrant requesting extradition.[26][27][28]
