A FALOBI RELATIVE SPEAKS AT THE EVENT WITH MR ADEKU,PAEDIA FOUNDER WATCHING WITH KEEN INTEREST AT THE OUT POUR OF EMOTIONS OVER THE DEPARTED
The Founding Executive Director of the Journalists Against
AIDS ,The Late Mr Omololu Falobi has been honoured with a 10 years anniversary
by the charity and its partner , a charity named after the same individual.
In a moving tribute which was ironically paid by a sibling of the deceased ,Mr Sanmi
Falobi,it was obvious that though he was ten years gone but the memories of the
departed loomed larger than life as speaker after the other spoke of how the
man everybody sorely missed touched the lives of all that he met.
Mr Falobi said he was particularly encouraged by the outpour
of encomiums on him despite his absence and praised God that 10 years after his
family was still standing as a unit.
In her own submissions,Miss Olayide Akanni, Executive
Director of the Journalists Against Aids said that the two agencies had been
talking about the event for sometimes and that they were both happy that the
time has finally come for the celebrations to take place.
She quoted from a statement quoted from a Late Ambassador Segun Olushola ‘s remarks at
an event in which he had affirmed that
he was happy that whenever he goes away there were people to live the stage for
She gave praises to God that 10 years after his demise
everybody was gathered together to celebrate a worthy memory of him.
A lot of iconic pictures taken by the departed during his
lifetime was showed to the guests that attended the event that took place
recently at the International Press Centre in Lagos,Nigeria
