BUHARI SHOULD GO INTO RETIREMENT NOW!!!!

LAGOS BASED CLERGY,BISHOP ANENE NWACHUKWU IS A MAN KNOWN FOR NOT MINCING WORDS AS HE CALLS A SPADE A SPADE,NO MATTER WHOSE AXE IS GORED,IN THIS INTERVIEW AHEAD OF THE PLANNED PROGRAM MES IN HIS CHURCH IN THE COMING MONTHS THE CLERGY BARES HIS MIND ON THE STATE OF THE NATION WHILE RETURNING A DAMNING VERDICT OF NO CONFIDENCE ON  BUHARI .

WHILE SPEAKING WITH A CROSS SECTION OF THE NIGERIAN PRESS RECENTLY  THE CLERGY ASK NIGERIANS TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AS CHARGED BY GENERAL DANJUMA,EXCERPTS

1]QUESTIONS: It seems that your church have a very important event coming up at the end of the month, sir?

Yes your observations are quite right and the event is called the Night of Prophetic Wonders and the people come from the rest of the world and destinies are changed for the better at the event.

2]QUESTIONS: what can you say about the killings of Christians in Nigeria?

I believe that it is high time that people start to speak out on any perceived ills in the land,

Nigeria is a country where people do not want to talk  as people do want to be tagged enemies of the government.

in Biblical times we were told that the prophets were against the kings but now the reverse is the case .Those who are supposed to speak out  are the one’s romancing the leadership at all cost  even when their friendship are not been requested for..

A lot of people think that the killings does not in any way concern them but whether we like it or not time and circumstances have showed us that the conflicts in the North East can spread and its actually spreading.

The President is behaving like there is no cause for alarm but this does not happen elsewhere save for Nigeria,Theophilous Danjuma accused Nigeria Police of complicity but they have not been able to wash their hands of the stains of the allegations despite trying.i believe we need a serious change in Nigeria and it should begin with the next elections.

It took a lot of cry before the President went to Benue State ,he even sent an Inspector General of Police who will not do his job properly .

3]DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE STATEMENTS CREDITED TO  GENERAL YAKUBU DANJUMA IN WHICH HE STATED THAT NIGERIANS SHOULD DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST THE ATTACKERS?

I support that clarion call ,100 percent as you will not just watch and allow yourself to be killed like a chicken without fighting back,at least common sense dictates that you at least fight back.

A friend of mine working with the military in the dangerous Sambisa Forest in the war torn ,North Eastern region of the country told me that they were asked to surrender their arms and they did just that but were shocked when that same night they were attacked by bandits suspected to be the dreaded Boko Haram fundamentalists.

So who told them that the soldiers had no arms that same day  that is a question for the military high command to find an answer to .

Former Nigerian Head of State,General Yakubu Gowon said that we should all pray and I think that is a good place to start from but prayers without any forms of work or action  is a sure path to death so I support the calls by not just General Danjumah and other senior Nigerians for us  to defend ourselves.

Jeremiah was praying and holding the Bible with one hand and at the same time fighting with the other ,the kingdom of God suffereth violence and so we must defend ourselves by such if need be to stay alive.

4]CAN  YOU SHED LIGHT ON THE CHARITY ACTIVITIES OF THE CHURCH ?

Our Church is involved in so many things like charity ,I take care of the less privileged  and we do have a department called Stomach infrastructure unit and we used to announce in church that if members do not have anything to eat then they should go to that unit for support.

I know what it means for somebody to grow hungry but we hope to do more in this regards for years to come.

5] WHAT CAN THE DO ON THE ECONOMY?

I am not a politician but am a clergy and everything and I did prophesied this before, everything from prices to other indicators shows that Buhari ‘s regime  has failed woefully .

The Rivers state government stated  clearly that they indicted somebody for corruption but till date nothing has being done on this.

There is a lot of corruption in governance today,the same way Buhari’s poll was financed is similar to how that of the Peoples Democratic Party [P.D.P]was financed but it is the latter that is being discussed and I find this very strange indeed.

6]DO YOU SUPPORT THE CALLS FOR BUHARI’S IMPEACHMENT?
Buhari has done a lot of damage to us and I do not believe in the current calls for his removal ,it is just a cosmetic fight however the moment money changes hands in the polity everybody will  keep quiet and nothing will happen like it is being touted all over the place right now.

7]DON’T YOU THINK THAT BUHARI WILL RIG AT THE POLLS IN 2019?

Personally I will not be voting for him,the elections of Buhari is a no go area in my church and even our members will have to respect that view point.

If you want to test his popularity right now, just go to the streets and call out his names and you will see that nobody is  interested in him.

I am not saying that everything about All Progressives Congress [A.P.C.]is bad ,Akinwunmi Ambode as Governor of Lagos state is doing greatly well  and I have seen him at construction sites just like Jonathan but I cannot say the same of Buhari as the President of Nigeria ,I mean Let us call a spade a spade.

Ambode deserves a second term in office and I will personally mobilize my members for him during the polls as he is a serious minded administrator.

CAN YOU COMMENT ON THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE YOUTHS TO GOVERNANCE?

Buhari says that our youths are very lazy but I disagree very strongly because he is one of the people who have created the situation for them to be that lazy..

The government did not give employments ,provide enough playing fields for business to survive and yet they are tagged as very lazy  I think that is very unfair.

Am 45 years of age now and Buhari is President of Nigeria and he was there several years ago when I was a boy ,I think it is high time they are retired to their country homes for the rest of us to move on.
