F.G.URGED TO INCREASE TARIFFS OF GOODS FROM DEVELOPED NATIONS
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU..
The Nigerian Federal Government has being urged to go ahead and
increase the tariffs of goods coming into the nation's shores from oversees.
Nigeria's major trading partners like the United States, United Kingdom
,China,Germany,France,South Africa ,India will appear to enjoy a lot of
concessions at the moment from officials in Abuja,Nigeria..
In a chat with The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express
Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria,an impeccable source said that China was
currently having to increase its tariffs on goods right now due to its rivalry
with the United states in global trade.
The source observed that since business man Donald Trump got into The
White House in Washington D.C.,all economic indicators for the United States
has suddenly improved.
He pointed out that the income per capita ,The Gross Domestic Products
[G.D.P.]employment rates have all increased with inflation being curbed to a
limit.
The source lauded Trump for sticking to his American first agenda when
he came to office as that campaign which he has pursued vigorously since he
came to power has helped the american economy to a sound footing at the moment
ahead of other major economies globally.
The source stopped short of asking President Muhammadu Buhari to
equally insist on Nigerian first agenda as a way of boosting the pool of the
nation's human resources and otherwise.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo,Former Nigerian President had jabbed
Buhari for a school boy error over his recent parley with U.S.President Donald
Trump as he did not quite use the
occassion to strike deals that will be for the long term benefit of Nigerians
instead of just fund repatriation thus allowing his host to have a domination
of all business dealings at the meetings..
