DHAKA NEWS:MODI PRAISES BANGABANDHU FOR PERSEVERING IN ADVERSITY

Modi praises Bangabandhu in tweet

Bangabandhu would be remembered for his courage and indelible contribution, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said in a tweet.
The tweet came hours before he delivered a speech via a video conference on the 100th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman today.
"Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is remembered for his courage and indelible contribution to Bangladesh's progress," the tweet reads.
Bangladesh is celebrating Bangabandhu's birth centenary or 'Mujib Borsho', excluding public gatherings in the face of coronavirus outbreak.
The changes in plans led to cancellation of Modi's Dhaka visit on the occasion.View image on Twitter
