POWER:NIGERIA ON THE BRINK OF TOTAL COLLAPSE!!!

It’s 8:58 P.M. local time in Lagos,Nigeria ,the commercial nerve centre of the entire nation and at Ifako-Ijaiye ,a city suburb ,the entire street and residential neighborhood are in pitch darkness on the 12^th March,2020..

Manchester United Football Club of England had just beaten an opponent ,F.C. Lask five nil but for all of that glory old Trafford faithfuls from Nigeria had to watch the match by paying to power their personal generating set at home or trooping to the many football viewing centres and around the suburb.

It may surprise you but this scenario is the same situation in most places in and around the city of Lagos ,Nigeria as at press time.

Checks by The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria ,shows that at this time of the year with the quality of heat being generated   by the sun  and the level of dryness  and amid weather ,the water level  will be at its lowest ebb at the nation’s main hydro electric gate way at Kainji Dam and other major landmarks at Jebba ,Shiroro,Afam and Egbin.

Infact so bad has being the level of frustration in recent days that will residents of Ifako-Ijaiye protested the development as they went to the Ikeja Distribution Company sub-office to lay there complains.

This reporter who was also a part of the delegation was told by an official that there was very little they could do to change the situation as it presently stands due to the quality of what was being transmitted and distributed simultaneously.

The official even pointed out that one of his colleagues in one of the adjoining private estate in the area was equally experiencing the same harsh situation and that the scenario was not peculiar to the ordinary.

Earlier on in the morning of same day ,several moles were heard discussing how the poor gas delivery to the Egbin Termal Power Plant for power utility operations has gone in no small  way at crippling the nations expected electrical generating capacity.

One of the moles lamented that for a nation that was losing so much via gas flares already ,this was a pain too many to bear.

As it is ,electricity is being rationed in the last few weeks even as the area had suffered from epileptic supply of power since February ,2015 .

Each time supplies are made ,it usually falls in the wee hours of the morning when many residents will still be fast asleep.
