The recent escape of President Goodluck Jonathan of death by the whiskers was predicted by Paedia Express Newspapers in its preview edition of September 2013 till December,2014 ,page seven.
In exclusive investigations during the opening ceremony of the Rock Cathedral of House on the Rock Church in Lekki Peninsular,Lagos,Nigeria by Dr Jonathan ,Paedia Express Multimedia through its newspaper edition had declared that the President was not save from attacks especially if it came from snipers.
Finding in the report shows that  there was no structure on ground to ward off any possible sniper attack aside from suicide bombing if any had taken place  at the public gathering.
A security source who confided in this reporter exclusively noted that security from the state house ,Abuja were sent to the location of the epoch making event at least three whole days before it took place.
He explained that since Nigeria was a reactive nation and not a proactive nation he was not surprised  that there no snipers to counter any attack on Nigeria’s number one citizen.
He pointed out that it took less than 48 hours for America’s security network to arrest the ugly situation that took place in Boston because that particular society  had the will power to deal with security threats and punish erring citizens decisively.
Paedia Express Multimedia had observed that The President had alighted from a Nigerian Air Force  helicopter with registration number,541 and landed in front of the new church building sometimes around 10:00a.m. on the day of the event.
Before this it was noted that at least two horses were seen been ridden by two policemen as part of the security patrol team to provide cover for the president  and his entourage .
Stern looking security men comprising members of the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Police and its anti-bomb disposal unit van were on hand to provide additional cover should in case of an emergency aside from a medical vehicle.
This reporter saw first hand how just about 50 to 100 meters where the Nigerian Air Force[N.A.F]541 was parked was a near by hotel where a  sniper could have had an easy aim at The President thus throwing Nigeria into  a very serious crisis.
Upon the completion of the event, The President and his entourage comprising Mr Tony Blair,Former Prime Minister of Britain ,both rode in his car sandwiched between two jeeps with four men  working on it sides.
Now a surface to air missile launched from anywhere near by would have left the Nigerian President hapless.
Several private estate within the area with about seven storey’s or thereabout  had  no security detailed to ward off any sniper attack neither was there any form of aerial surveillance of the area on a continuous basis for the four to five hours that the real event lasted with the President in full attendance.
The list of leaders murdered in public office are well documented in the annals of time,Once upon a time President Anwar Sadat of Egypt was gunned down during a military parade in Cairo by extremist over his signing of the Camp David accord, Laurent Kabila of Congo was killed by body guards as were Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India who fell to the antics of Sikh extremists working in her security.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy, United states President was also killed in 1963 in a motorcade while on a visit to Dallas ,Texas in a murder linked to the Central Intelligence Agency among other leaders to numerous to mention.
President Goodluck Jonathan escaped death on Monday, a female suicide bomber struck 200 metres away from the Fantami Township Stadium, Gombe, barely three minutes after he addressed a campaign rally ahead of the February 14 election.
The State Police Command, rescuers and medical sources were quoted as saying a female suicide bomber and a bye-stander died when the explosives were detonated.
Fwaje Atajiri of the Gombe Police Command said six people had minor injuries, while rescuers and medical sources reported 18 people injured in the blast and were being treated at a hospital.
He said President Jonathan was not the target of the attack as speculated in the social media, since he left an hour earlier and was already out of the city when the blast occurred.
He also said the bombing occurred around the Water Board area of the town, far from venue of the rally.
Atajiri told Premium Times on telephone, that "female suicide bomber and a passerby were the only casualties, while six persons were injured but not seriously.
"The president was long gone before the blast and if not for media, he would not (have known of the blast) so he could not have been the target.
"The suicide bomber was heading to her target when the bomb she was carrying went off in an empty place prematurely because of the high level of security put in place," the police spokesperson said.
But Mohammed Bolari, a Gombe resident, who was at the rally told, AFP news agency that the explosion occurred at 3.10 p.m. some three minutes after the president's departure.
"The president had just passed the parking lot and we were trailing behind his convoy when the explosion happened... just 100 metres from the bus we were driving in," he added.
