From Algiers ,capital city of Algeria ,The News office Desk
of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria now hears that
ailing Algerian President :Abdelaziz Bouteflika will not be running for a fifth
term in office due to ill health and the continuous protests from the general
public that threatens to plunge the state into a chaos.
While no one is sure of who the possible successor might
eventually be but it is sure that the military will continue to play a very
strategic role in the life and future of the republic.
Apart from the National Liberation Front the Algerian
military which is supposed to be partisan remains very powerful and in fact
there leadership have provided the nation with direction since President
Abdelaziz Bouteflika became
incapacitated.
