The state government should as a matter of urgency build a sport centre of global standards at the hearts of the famous Mambilla Plataeau .
This should be used by any athlete both local or foreign for training competitions.The state government can also stage marathon competitions here so as to use the place as hotbed for sports tourism thus stopping people from going to Kenya or Ethiopia for training.
Events like 1,500 meters,3,000 meters ,5,000 meters ,cross country races could be staged here due to its altitudes.
