AN ACTIVIST HAVE TWO HOMES:THE PRISON AND HIS OWN HOME

AN ACTIVIST HAVE TWO HOMES:THE PRISON AND HIS OWN HOME
PROPHET BEN LUTHER -MOIBI ,THE PRESIDENT OF THE CHRISTAIN DEFENDER INITIATIVE SPEAKS TO THE NEWS OFFICE DESK OF THE E.N.M.PAEDIA EXPRESS MULTIMEDIA GROUP OF LAGOS,NIGERIA ON HIS PLANS TO FIGHT AGAINST ALL FORMS OF INJUSTICE WITHIN THE CHRISTAIN FRONTIERS  AND SECULAR ENVIRONMENT ALIKE.
HE TAKES EDITOR-IN-CHIEF:ABDULMUMINI ADEKU ON HIS PLANS TO FIGHT THE ILLS IN THE NIGERIAN SOCIETY AND BEYOND,READ ONImage may contain: 1 person, smiling, suit
1]What are the missions and visions of the new initiative ,sir?
Our visions are to stand up against any forms of anti-Christian policy both in government and other strata of the society .
our mission is to become a voice and a mega-phone for all Christians of various denominations so as to be in a position to defend the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is a crusading movement for the body of Christ in Nigeria with the aim of exposing and eradicating all forms of injustice against the church of God as a whole.
2]What are the areas that the new initiative will concentrate on by the time it will start full operations ?
Our operations will be targeted at fighting on behalf of churches that are being demolished or with members been deliberately targeted for persecution.
For example,if in a tertiary educational citadel of learning anywhere in the country ,we hear that a christain body cannot  have its members to freely  worship via congregational sessions and fellowship  Networking sessions ,we will step into this and ensure that Justice is done not minding whose axe is gored.
If we are also aware of  cases where even non Christians are been targeted for humiliation ,we intend to step in to protect their interests as God hates cheating in any form.
3]What is the difference between The Christian Association of Nigeria[C.A.N.]and this new body?
The differences are quite distinct in that we are a Christian activist group  fighting for the human rights of others. on this type of platform we engage anyone that is deprived of its rights through acts of litigations, protests ,media and press releases among other processes we can undertake.
C.A.N. cannot be involved in this type of situations as its brief is to try to use all forms of diplomatic maneuverings to try to bring all Christian groups in the land to the negotiating table peacefully at all times without any forms of partisanship.
4]Why do you choose to be an activist as you are known to be a clergy ?
I  chose to be an activist because i was born to be an activist,if you take my blood samples into the laboratory for a test am so sure that you will be told that there is a fire of activism spotted in my blood.
i think that am just beginning to be known for public activism but i have been working under ground for several years  but was not noticed  for my records of public services.
i have been locked up in the prisons at least five times  not because i had committed any state crime but because i usually fight for my rights and that of others whenever i spotted injustice.
So every form of activism should not be regarded as criminality but should be given its due respects in the society as they always want to advocate for all of human justice.
5]Do we still have human Rights Activists in Nigeria as since the death of Chief Gani Fawenhinmi ,there seems to have being a dearth in human resources in this area.?
Some activists want to  make a name for themselves and then use it to target money and the moment they are able to get both fame and cash they stop fighting or pushing on behalf of the masses.
we have some activists such that by the time that they are given positions of public trust in public service they will automatically be silenced and then they become lame ducks.
So we still have activists but they are not as functional as expected.
6]What are the challenges facing an average activist in the course of doing his or her job?
Every activist have two houses, the first one is the house he lives in with his family members and the second home for an activist is the prison .
i had an opportunity of meeting with the Late Chief Gani Faenhinmi before he died while i was working as a marketing officer with C  And A Print at Ilupeju  here in Lagos,NIgeria.
i had visited Lewis Street ,Lagos office of the late lawyer so that we could have access to his law reports for printing commercially .
He now gave me an appointment to see  him at his Anthony Village  chambers  and when i got there i met several people who wanted to see him about the same time .
The moment he spotted me he asked that i should be allowed to see him in the office  immediately .
For about an hour before we started anything at all ,we were discussing on his unending battles with the government  and he made a statement that caught my attention till date on that same day.
He told me he could not install a printing press because of his problems with the government ,he told me that he always had his luggage containing his clothings, drugs and other personal effects with him in his bag as he could be arrested any time by the state.
He also told me that he had told his staffs that anytime any of the security operatives came looking for him  they should tell them that he was in the office.
So every good activist mush  have to be ready to face the challenge of human intimidation hence you cannot use the lure of a prison house to threaten an activist by nature as this makes him to be much more stronger.
7]What are the tools that you will use to fight as an activist?
The first tool is to engage in spiritual war fare as the Bible says that our spiritual warfare are not carnal but mighty through God  and pulling down all forms of strongholds.
What every forms of government should be afraid of rather than A.K..47 ,nuclear bombs, atomic bombs should be prayers that people like us will embark upon to fight them as that will be our number one weapon.
Our voice as a megaphone ,press releases ,broadcast announcements ,litigations and protests  will also be a useful tool.
8]We hear rumoursly  from the grape vine that Nigeria will be Islamized ,is this true?
i do not believe that it can be true ,i know a lot of people are saying this but i do not think that this is true or possible even if it were true.

It will never work because The Christian Defenders Initiative will be wiling and ready to fight to the finish ,it can never be possible as far as we are in legal and human existence.
